The comment about Paul’s letter to the Romans in Chapter 7 is a misrepresentation of Paul’s intent (in my opinion). In Context of Chapters 5-8 Paul is saying when I lived under the law of sin and death I couldn’t do what I wanted to do, but under the law of grace and life I have the ability to reign over sin. Sin cannot have dominion over me any longer.

Pastor George , during election year please don’t hesitate to remind us to vote for the candidate who’s moral compass lines up the closest to Biblical principles . Thank you and love you.

Well when churches start being what Jesus said that they should be then I will attend. People put their selfishness ahead of what Jesus requires.

I attend a place where a bunch of imperfect believers gather. I encourage others to read what scripture says about how the body of Christ should be. I hope you find a place to gather with others.

Your obligation at the end of the day is to prove that the voice in your head is actually god. Until then at best you're imagining it, or at worst you're mentally ill.

I'm a Christian but I don't go to church anymore because the church is full of clicks and when I entered the church not one single person greeted me. When you look around, everyone is on their cell phone and the pastor was too busy trying to sell his books, and making church members feel guilty into becoming a patreon on his online podcast. Don't talk to me about church. The only thing en vogue are greedy pastors, church members who fill the seats out of habit and checking all the boxes for the definition of hypocrisy. Don't talk to me about church. The church you speak of existed 50 years ago but not in 2024.

I see your point about his increased capacity. Capacity with regards to relationship, encouragement, friendship, purpose, fulfillment, love, capacity to learn, like a coach with an athlete, a general w his soldier, God w His ppl.
