It’s insane how many “non-drivers” are regularly out at pp. Stunning that surf etiquette was never taught, learned, or figured out, by so many, and they’ve all migrated to easy access waves. Understandably, ya wanna get into good waves. But at the very least, ya wanna assure you don’t create any hazard, obstacle or bad joojoo. I really sucks to wait, have priority, be in the zone, and snag a great peak. Which should lead to an insane blast through about 5 different sections. But in reality, it’s floundering ND’s, frothing insane snaking groms, and full blown pro’s all making mincemeat outta a fun wave. Constant nose to grindstone, and you can snatch one every once in a while. 😳🙏🤙

I recognize that surf spot...uoi are at Laguna Beach right in from on the stairs...That place when it gets "light up" is really good...My favorite spot is at "the rocks"....As you look out to the ocean with the stairs behind you, you can see 2 rocks to your right...If you position yourself at the second rock on its left side, you can get a nice push tog get into the wave and you get a endless "right surf" that goes all the way to the beach...you just got to watch out cause right after you catch the wave you come close to the first "rock" as it also gets shallow ...sweet spot when the surf is good. Good memories from that spot. Enjoy ti bud

It's quite obvious that you don't realize what a steep takeoff is... Before you claim it you need to be a little bit more experienced on what you're even doing.
@surfininmy40s27 күн бұрын
I don’t know how else to describe the wave. It’s a very quick pop up and I would only try this spot on a small day. It’s the kind of wave that sends you straight to the bottom when you fall on the take off. Of course the go pro angles don’t give it justice though and after the initial drop the wave does flatten out.
@MickyRyder23 күн бұрын
Steep is subjective. Just because its not steep for you doesn't mean others dont think its steep. Let him be stoked.
