I remember the Nickelodeon version cut out scenes. This was the scene that they eliminated! After Muffy took the Polaroid, the Nick version skipped to the second clock. I was SO pissed. However, the secretary was a bitch.

Therefore, she is THE FIRST BLACK MISS AMERICA Sad Sidenote: She received more criticism from the Black community, simply because of her light skintone... She and 1st runner up, Suzette Charles were not fully celebrated, nor embraced by the Black community... It was not until 1990 and 1991 crownings of two darker skintone Black Miss America's, that the Black community truly and genuinely celebrated.
