    we did not see 4 stars render, do you think it is better to go for 60 fps 3 stars, or 30 fps 4 stars? They almost have the same render time

    Thank you. This was very helpful. I've been using Lumion for a few years and was trying to decide if I want to switch to Blender or just upgrade my Lumion.

    I'm wondering if it is possible to use a site photo as a decal to create a background / landscape or cityscape in the background of a camera shot. Please advise. Thanks!

    For some reason i still cant get the image to go into lumion, eventhough its a jpeg. Anybody got any idea why, I followed all the steps now multiple times. Is it the size of the image or maybe the specs of my PC?

    I found a quick sollution for anybody with the same problem, I just imported the jpeg in the material menu.

    Hi. I watched your video about the materials you created for lumion 11, where you create poly heaven material into lumion materials. Im having a problem, i cant use it with lumion 2023.4.4 because its different file format. Please make a video how to fix that, that will be so helpful. Thank you so much and more power to you.😊

    This feature first came out in D5 Render....lumion seeing the competition really getting hot, are now offering some features...but too late... Many have now moved on to D5 render, which is actually giving features at a much more affordable price. I will too suggest u to come up with D5 render tuts for a better youtube channel life.

  • @LuminousLabs
    @LuminousLabs3 ай бұрын

    I plan on making D5 videos as well, I will probably just be making a wide range of videos. We don't really make any money from KZread so we are lucky in a way because we have a lot of flexibility. Lumion has made great strides but I still find it and also D5 heavily flawed softwares at their cores. They are more for convenience but the inability to have plugins in either of them really stifle their development. Thanks for checking out the video Shomit!

  • @ShomitSarkar
    @ShomitSarkar3 ай бұрын

    @@LuminousLabs hey friend, i always chk out your videos and am super excited to know D5 render videos is in your thoughts. Yes i agree D5 is flawed, but they are working hard to get better and at the same time also offering it at a much afforadble price for us small time freelancers. D5 teams always listens to their users while bringing out new features whereas lumion never listens to their users and always bring small incremental updates.

  • @LuminousLabs
    @LuminousLabs3 ай бұрын

    @@ShomitSarkar I do completely agree there, the price category is definitely far more manageable with D5. Lumion has such a high cost most people just end up pirating it. Something I do think is a benefit for D5 is they can leverage all of the new Unreal Engine features so the software will passively just get better over time, but on top of that they are working pretty hard at it. The Blender exporter for us is a pretty great.

  • @LuminousLabs

    Perfect! You can actually change it to work with any of the inputs, you just have to go down the list and count. I think the script used 12 and 14 but that can easily change.

    I have a 3090 with a 3950x cpu and 64gb of ram. I don't think it makes a huge deal for pulling the data from Google, since I think the bottleneck is google itself but I may be incorrect about that.

    👍Very Nice! Which modeling-software has been used?

  • @LuminousLabs
    @LuminousLabs4 ай бұрын

    We use Blender (4.0). That is our main software that we use for most of our projects. There is a Datasmith download for Blender that really helps this out.
