Reminds me... about a year or two ago I crafted a small Pen-and-Paper adventure inspired by SOMA, Lovecraft ... and this very song. So thanks a lot for the great experience me and my players had on that evenings!

Your work is some of the best ambient inspired by Thief that I ever heard.

Brilliant Moira Manor vibes. Anyway, I just discovered your channel! That's some great work here. I wonder what do you use to create music? Would like to experiment with ambient and drone myself but don't know what to begin messing around with.

Thank you very much for the kind words! I use pretty basic tools for my music. I have a Zoom H2 for recording interesting sounds I stumble across, then I edit and mix my own sounds and free stock sounds with Audacity. Sometimes I use Finale Notepad for some synth stuff. Hope that helps :)

All kinds of vibes in this one. Late 70s, early 80s horror and sci-fi movie tracks, in synth-rock style, not entirely unlike Goblin's. And in the 2nd half it creeps over into a Doom (id software) track. Very nice! To my perception it had potential for becoming a longer track.

Ohhh, another one! This has a slightly more Thief-like feel to it.... But perhaps if you just kinda slowed down the pace (ie, double the length of this video), it would feel much more imposing. This is not a BAD piece by any means. But the notes change so quickly and noticably that you can't seem to lose yourself in it. Sorry, I'm a total Thief fan, so I think about the series a lot. :) ... Why won't Eidos tell us anything? :(

I'm trying different things... this one is supposed to be more of a cutscene-soundtrack. Either way, it's only Thief->>inspired<<, and I also like the horror-aspect of Thief, e.g. The Cradle. ;) Thank you very much for the feedback!

Pretty cool. But right now this seems more like the soundtrack to a survival-horror game, rather than Thief. Too much use of the heartbeat. Part of the creepiness of Thief's soundtrack was that a lot of it seemed deliberately man-made... either the hammerite's chanting, or the slow, mechanical whistling of Soulforge Cathedral. ... Again though, cool ambience here.
