    I just bought this with the AM8, they arrive in like a week. It was funny to me that the mic was cheaper than the arm :))). Does the AM8 have any software?

    Is fifine a6v working fine? Are there any Background noise issues? Should I go with K669b or a6v?

  • @DaveSoltura
    @DaveSolturaКүн бұрын

    A6v if you can! Most condenser mics will have background noise concerns. If that is the main issue, consider an active noise canceling mic like the Maono DGM20 or a dynamic mic like the K688.

    Hi Dave I would like to know briefly from you whether the AM8 microphone needs an external audio interface such as SC1 or SC3, is the difference worth paying for the audio interface or is just the USB connector enough? Or is it better to invest the same amount in purchasing a boom arm from Fifine Like fifine bm88 ? And about the USB cable, would you suggest buying another USB cable from UGREEN or Anker 3.0 instead of the one that comes with the microphone?

  • @DaveSoltura
    @DaveSoltura4 күн бұрын

    Hi! The short answer is that usb mode is more than sufficient for most people. But I do have a video coming out next week answering exactly this concern in detail! I test the AM8 in USB mode, with the SC1, with a mic booster, and with the Focusrite Vocaster interface. The video is already available for members if you’re in a hurry. As for the cable, I’ll have to confirm with Fifine if the cable has been updated. You might want to try getting the AM8 first and see if the included cable works. There’s a chance they made silent updates to the included cable.

    @@DaveSoltura thank you for your reply I would like you to nominate an audio interface in the economic category that is compatible with the AM8 M-Audio M Track Solo or behringer um2 or Fifine SC1 Or if you have a better audio interface than them, please recommend it to me

    The allen wrench part stripped when I tighten it. They should have made it a twisting knob instead. My SM7B was still heavy for it and it would drag down. They also released a FIFINE Mic Boom Arm BM66 and BM66T

    i remember i once got this arm, it looks and feels great, but there was two problems, one, it didnt have an extender, which i dont need but it could come with it, and when i tried to get it to hold my pd400x or my shure sm7b, i tightened it and it broke, the tightener broke, but besides those, it was a great arm, but in my opinion, cmteck has the best budget low profile arm, it comes with an extender, easy to tighten , a very sturdy clamp, and even though it cant hide the cabled, it has great cable ties, and its amazing for 35 bucks, and i use it with my fifine k688, works great
