I'm an everyday guy who tries to fit vlogging into my busy work life. I started the channel to document more of the day to day, along with some of the new tech products I'm into. Vlogging for about a year now I've found myself extremely interested in the challenge of editing my videos as this is something I have ZERO experience with (if you couldn't tell). Ultimately this is just a documentary of my life experiences and interests.

the paint is not a disadvantage. It's the opposite. It can actually be FIXED unlike powder coating or ceramic coating. The only people bitching about paint are people who have no clue what they are talking about. Get a rattle can of flat black stove paint and some sand paper and fix it as needed. We've done this for years with traditional offsets. This is a big boy pit so you need to grow up to own one. Or go buy a chinese traeger.
I have the Rovr 60 and it works fricking awesome with my e-bike. It also has a cool folding basket strapped on top to carry stuff as well. I use the combo all the time for supermarket runs. Carries everything plus you can park it right out front and never have to hunt for a space like a car.

Most of the shops I contacted on Yelp have powder-coated these wheels before and charge $600 to $700.

What powder coat finish did you select?
Did you replace the light or just got fixed same one?

I have 2 MY LR - Gemini n Induction wheels. Gemini wheels I sprayed plasti dip just in case I got tired of it and I can remove it go back to original sliver. I didn't touch my induction wheels. So for ppl wanted to choose btwn plasti dip or permanent paint, it's your choice. Great video indeed good to know...

Hey what colour is the powder coat, matt black or satin ?
Hearing from everyone it seems the 20" or 21" upgraded rims are a worse ride and so I thought of doing teh same thing you did here. However, I don't like the thought of painting rims on a brand new car so I would recommend others plasti dip the rims. If you don't like the paint job or the color u easily just pull it off and paint them again in a different color or just put the hubcaps back on and buy rims!

My friend worked for Tesla at the factory in California. On his first actual day of work after spending the first few hours watching videos and getting things set up he was put on the "quality control" line. He was an employee with no experience what-so-ever and he was checking paint for blemishes on the assembly line. He told me he had never been so overwhelmed in his life. He was sweating profusely and he said he couldn't keep up with the line. He asked two people around him what he should be doing and they shot him dirty looks and said nothing. He was worried he was going to ruin someone's future car and being a decent human he quit. It took him years to even tell the story he felt so ashamed.

Like the idea but a bit of a botch job. I would have spent about 400 dollars on a decent paint job. This won't last. Looks waaay better though.

Just bought one! Have you had any issues with it leaking? I was really surprised to see a review that showed the water just pours out the top
Haven’t had any issues with mine. Also haven’t turned it upside down to find out. I’ve taken it to the beach several times and works great for me
@@ryanmwal awesome. Good to know. Beach is probably my largest use case. I took the plunge as I’m transporting about $400-$500 worth of meat over a day and a half, so figure it pays for itself if it will keep it cold. You think it’ll keep the meat frozen for a day and a half if I prep it with ice?

Great video! I wish tesla still offered the MYP standard. I ordered the MYP with PUP but seriously considering swapping the uberturbines with the Gemini’s. I’ve read that range should increase slightly but curious if you know if the 0-60 also improved from 3.5 with the uberturbines.
