Heritage...please listen to this. People have to shim your hammer tensioner to get your revolver to work properly. Please fix this. I bought my rough rider and on day 1 out of the box half the rounds were light strike misfires. Thought I had a dud pin but realize the hammer was striking too soft. Please please please, fix this problem on all your new productions.

Hey there. This was a pretty decent review. Thanks for posting. Maybe you can grow more from a couple of things... In your first part inside and after coming back from the range, you used "um and um and um" over and over. Maybe you felt nervous or didn't plan what you'd be saying? Outside seemed so much more normal. You seemed relaxed and like you knew what you wanted to say. Also, in my opinion, if you are doing review videos you should definitely get a Lyman trigger pull gauge. They are not expensive and would seem much more reputable. LASTLY, I think it would have been great for everyone if you just quickly swapped the recoil spring after the first 100 rounds, then you could have talked about the reliability change (if any) and the feel, because I'm definitely still curious about that. I hope you accept this as positive criticism that can help you grow. Great job putting the video together. Thanks for providing this material for the community.

I’m thinking M & P between 4 and 4.6 barrels! Is it a big difference in accuracy and muzzle flip?

  • @pewpewswithmr.x

No very minimal difference in accuracy/ muzzle flip. Will it be better with the 4.6 yes, but most shooters will barely be able to tell a difference. If your only gonna hip carry get the 4.6! If your gonna try and conceal 4 will definitely be easier and more comfortable depending on carry position. I hope you stay in contact and thank you for watching!

Good shooting. Canik confirmed that the 507, 407, vortex optics does not fit because they only have screws provided that doesn’t fit so you have to buy a separate t10 screw and different length t20 just in case. If your gun wiggles it’s because you need rear studs flushed on there or the screws are not long enough. Too long night cause your gun to malfunction. Shadow system also had that problem the screws had to be of perfect length.

Love my Ruger Super Single Six made in the 200 year of American Liberty (1976). I got it new in 1976 for $112 dollars with the mag cylinder. 48 years old and still running strong . Never big on the Rump Riders- to many friends had problems with them . Lite primer strikes , springs breaking and screws falling out. And that sissy safety made it look a toy. You can slow your thoughts down and speak more deliberately and the listener will not notice. Just my 2 cents. I have a TP9SF and had ftf issues with 115 grain ammunition. Interesting that you had zero issues. I'm still putting some rounds through it to break it in and have ordered a low force recoil spring. Can't bring myself to drop a grand on a Canik though. It’s a review of my opinion! My thoughts on the bad/ ugly shadowing job would not change if I knew beforehand. My job is to point out things I like or dislike about the gun and the viewer takes it for what it’s worth. I don’t like the a tempt of shadowing they did and I think they could have done a better job. I wouldn’t have used black to do the shadowing, but a darker gold color to create the shadowing affect! I think it would have turned out way cleaner and look better in my opinion.

@pewpewswithmr.x I was pointing out that your statement of it being the company's fault or bad QC, which was incorrect. You can't always have your opinion if it is ugly to you or not.

@terrence946 sounds good and I respect you communicating your thoughts. I still think QC was bad on the shadowing, because some areas of one part of the slide have more of the so called shadowing then the other side of the slide! It’s not symmetrical from one side to the other and that’s why it bugs me. Plus it doesn’t look good at all to me even knowing they did it on purpose. I will most likely get it fixed and have it done a little cleaner to my liking down the road because I do truly love the performance of the gun! Until next time and thanks for commenting!

@@pewpewswithmr.x look forward to seeing what you do with it. You might be the first to change the color scheme of the TTI. Probably would make a good video.

My understanding is that the springs come a little stiff on some of these from the factory and don’t like 115gr sometimes. You could probably alleviate the problem by leaving the slide locked open overnight.

Yes you are correct and I have a video talking about how I fixed mine that way! I have a lot of Caniks and videos on them at my home page.

Just finished paying mine off and waiting for the background check to clear. Used to only have to wait 3 days but apparently they changed the rules and it could take up to 27 days! Wtf?!

@@pewpewswithmr.x I’m in New Mexico. I’m pretty sure I’m on the gray list because every firearm I’ve ever purchased i had to wait for the Brady date. Now there’s a 7 day hold on top of the atf clearing which could take up to 20 days. The gun store told me they’ve never taken that long but i worry because of my particular situation.
