  Never Carson. Mazzy Star played "Fade..." on Conan O'Brien's show (findable on yt at other channels), Hope sang a duet "Sometimes Always" with JAMC on David Letterman's show (also findable elsewhere on yt). Mazzy Star played "California" on Jimmy Fallon's show in 2013 but ABC won't allow it posted to you tube and blocks it when people try. ABC allows the audio to be shared on yt with screenshot still staken from the video, however. You can find that at my channel here.

  She hates when people talk during shows. Get a clue kids of social media age.you'll never experience a live show.....ever.... Cuz of that drug in your hand .

  Many people who DO attend her shows also like to take their "drug" with them to take photos and videos. She hates the flashes the most. "You all have those jackass flash phones," she once said at a show. She also once inserted a phrase like "STOP using those camera phones" right in the middle of a song she was singing. There are signs at all her show venues of the past 15 years that inform attendees camera use is banned, and the ban will be enforced. People often ignore the ban though except in cities that respect artists such as Seattle (I've twice witnessed well-behaved Seattle audiences at her shows (one Mazzy show, one Warm Inventions one). They don't chatter and they don't take pictures when asked not to.

  Wow! Since Mazzy Star is so mysterious and on the down low, never imagined there would be a tv commercial announcing their album. But i love it, very dark and enigmatic, just like Mazzy Star! 🖤🖤🖤

  It's nice to read there are still people discovering Mazzy Star only now - thanks to internet, youtube ... I have been listening to their music from the mid-90s, I discovered Hope from MTV "sometimes always" with jesus and mary chain. Back then it was really difficult to find information about a total underground band believe me.... I was the only fan of Mazzy Star, none of my friends had ever heard of them😅.... I have shared tapes back then... And my mom asked me for a tape when I left home..... It made me quite desperate back then that they were not known at all (at least not in Germany), I mean I cannot even say "totally underrated", I 'd rather say totally unknown.... So better late than never - I am glad they finally get the attention they deserve.

  This might be my favorite Hope Sandoval live performance of all time. Thank you so much for sharing it with us ! I love the live version of this song, which is pretty different from the studio version. I wish the Suzanne EP, alongside the At The Doorway Again one, were available on streaming services. The physical copies are pretty hard to find. Anyway, let’s hope that a new Warm Inventions album is not too far away so we can, maybe, have other beautiful live performances such as this one in the near future 🤞
