Fantastic review!
Thk u Matt!
Amazing video. Trying to plan for my birthday trip in September. This really helped.
Glad it was helpful! Have a fantastic celebration
See that ear grabbing he does to make the elephant splash water? That’s done typically with a nail as it’s a sensitive pressure point used to teach the elephant to do tricks originally through pain, and then through fear compliance. A lot of so called “ethical” parks do similar things to enhance the tourist experience. That said, there certainly seems to be plenty of room and natural habitat which offers a far better life than they would otherwise have had. The only truly “ethical” elephant sanctuaries are those that do not allow any contact with tourists but at least this one and those like it are a massive improvement on those where elephants are chained up for long periods or forced to perform rides and tricks. The sanctuary is not perfect but worthy of support in my view because it is by far the lesser of two evils and facilitates a reasonably decent level of respect and dignity to the elephants. Thank you for the comprehensive video.
Thank you for letting us know, now that we see that, we have left a note to the guide. Learning more and more each day. Yes it is indeed the lesser of two evils, and at least more are aware and not riding elephants. The elephants there do truly roam free and are not chained. After the interaction the elephants go about their day wandering into the forest nearby. And we even spotted the young one playing with monkeys ard the area. It was a sight to behold.
@@CatandKenneth yes, it’s a far better life than they previously had for sure, and ethical treatment has come a long way in the last 20 years. It can now be a successful business model. A long way to go but raising awareness has worked well since the advent of the internet and no doubt the future is brighter.
Staying at this hotel later this year so this video is super informative, everything i needed to know. Thank you!
awesome, glad it helped! Enjoy your trip
What app did you use to buy your ticket?
Trainline!
Wow, nice hotel myfriend..Thank you for sharing
enjoyyyy
I have a question about the open window into the bathroom. I have seen that many hotels has it. Is there a curtain or something to block the wiew? I like my privacy 😅
yes there is an automatic roller blind there. you can choose to keep it fully closed, half closed for a peekaboo or just full monty lol
@@CatandKenneth thanks for the answer. Some hotels you can't do that 😅 I've never understand why many hotels have a see through into the bathroom. But i guess its surposed to be romantic for love couples?
franky is very naughty 🤣
Yes!!! 😂 hope you’ve enjoyed ur trip there as much as we did too
@@CatandKenneth ya it was awesome he pull out my Mic from his trunk and not given back 🤣🤣🤣 playing with me 😆
How I can book for this trip…pls
bought it via Klook
Thank you
Convenient when shopping at MBK

Is the gym free to use or do you have to pay extra?
Free to use when you stay there
@@dayvboy4631 ok do you know if there is a age limit to use the gym? I have a 14 year old daughter. Do you think she would be allowed to use the gym? Im asking because some places they dont allow kids under 18 to enter...
Yes! and you can join in the other fitness classes. Do check out the schedule with the counter staff at the gym.
@@CatandKenneth ok. Do you know if there is an age limit to use the gym? I have my 14 year old daughter with me. Do you think she will be allowed to use the gym too, or is it only for adults? I dont know much about gym rules there, but here where i live, you must be at least 15 to acces a gym.
I believe there’s an age limit however it’s usually ok for teens over the age of 12 (on thread mills and light weights, stretch area) ❤❤❤ but to be sure you can always check with the counter once there
cost per day
Not into Renaissance architecture or religious paintings. But an amazing collection nonetheless, for those who are!
Thank you for watching
Bruh why there are no seafoods stuff
Thank you for supporting the elephants and animals by going to one of these santuaries & not riding on them and NO HOOK. I wish more tourists to Pattaya would do that. I've gone to ENP in Chiang Mai and it was such an experience.
hope this vid will cr8 more awareness , thank you for watching
Welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭 🎉❤😊
Thank you !
Beautiful video, beautiful animals! Thank you so much for sharing! New subscriber here! 🌍
much appreciated!
Is the hotel bad? I’ve literally booked my hotels already, one is in the Kensington neighborhood but literally all the attractions and restaurant I want to go is in the SOHO, convent garden area. But I’m scared the hotel is too small and not modern at all
St giles if you want you can choose the updated rooms, however do note theres no airconditioning and dont expect five star amenities. London's cold enough most the year so for us no airconditioning is fine, except during the peak of summer. The location and price however is unbeatable and Everything you need / attractions are all right below. Hope this helps you!
@@CatandKenneth no air conditioning!! what? But the room won't feel too stuffy right? I'm going in the beginning of May
It’ll be relatively cold, so it’ll be alright ❤❤❤
How scenic was the train ride?
We think it was alright, vast greeneries and such, more importantly it was a smooth , clean journey too ❤
have fun. keep going.
I flew Singapore Airlines Premium Economy from Singapore to Manchester return, absolutely no complaints, the service was brilliant.
Glad u had a great experience flying SQ! 🎉❤a good flight does make a trip so much better
3.53 OMG he's so smart!!! I never know that Pattaya has the Elephant Sanctuary. I will go there sometimes. This is amazing and good experience. Enjoy your trip in Thailand.
Franky's really smart! he goes into the jungle to play with the monkeys too
Your video is so helpful! I booked this hotel for my trip to Bangkok is March. Thank you ❤!
Enjoy your holidays! 🎉
A truly magical day with the elephants
Thank you for taking care of all of these beautiful animals.
What type of room you booked at this hotel? it looks nice!
It’s a deluxe classic king room! Comes in twin as well. 🎉

Wow I admire yr enthusiasm for a hotel with no air-conditioning...😅
😅 oops. Forgot to mention that its always cold enough when we head over during May - early Jun and the later months. Yes no air conditioning lol
Love this cafe
The best !
Are there lifts at Totteham Court Road station to get you to street level?
Yes there is!
St Giles Hotel used to be the YMCA .
Previously ten years ago there’s still a ymca wing beside it and we could use the gym. No longer now :((((
@@CatandKenneth I can't say I miss the original YMCA building, LOL But it was an affordable place for students in 1965, located in the city centre.
The video is a little incorrect. Follow the signs "To Trains" not Underground. The Elizabeth Line shares the same track as Heathrow Express. The underground tube platforms for Piccadilly Line services are at a different location. Do not follow "To Underground" signs as that will lead you to the Piccadilly Line.
This is so well done and filmed 👏👏👏
Thank you ❤ we enjoyed our trip very much
Can I travel to Farringdon station from Heathrow terminal 4 by the Elizabeth line?
Yes you can
Thank you for video. I will be there in September with my mother and I was having a hard time finding video about this hotel. This was a great and informative video.
Glad it was helpful! We really enjoyed our trip there and we hope you will too :)
Great video. I’ll stay in that hotel in a week. Thank you for showing the area. I chose that hotel not knowing anything about it. But your video made me congratulate myself. Haha 🎉😊👍
Awesome! We're glad this video helped :)
Great video. Any idea if it's kid friendly? Under 6
I believe between 4-11 years old they can be part of the Kids club where GOs will be be with them and prepare alot of activities for them!
@@catyeofitness5771 thanks!
