I wish these reenactments were preceded with a pep talk. These guys casually load their rifles, point, shoot then causally load them again. Reenactment means to reenact HOW these soldiers fought. Those young men were pumped with massive adrenaline, they would be loading their rifles as if their lives depended on it, not like they were out for a Sunday stroll. All of the effort getting the uniforms, the guns, the tents, so much logistics to do these reenactments and then the guys look like they are out for a day on the golf course rather than a frantic fight. Someone needs to lead these men and pump them up to do what those brave men did over 150 years ago on that sacred ground. Is that too much to expect?

I was at the 150th. I was 16. BUT i kick myself because at the ball the previous night, i met a beautiful redhead girl and i skipped the charge in order to hangout in the woods and makeout with her/sex. At the time i thought it was cooler than charging, but now i kick myself because it would have been cool. At least i fought the first 2 days.
