  I’ve never seen him so relaxed and at peace with himself when he owned Broome Hall and was breeding horses and helped to save the house from falling into ruin. If only he hadn’t sold it and had stayed focused on those projects perhaps his demons might have stayed away

  Peter Bardens (RIP) was a founding member of the prog rock band Camel in he early 70's. That was the only way I knew him. His keyboard work on Camel albums is amazing! The work he does here is good but if you really want to hear his best work, listen to Camel's albums Moonmadness and The Snow Goose.

  Dam it,this is astounding,I thought I Heard about all of Oliver's adventures but no These were new,it's great how you illustrated it with the pictures and voice,cheers for this ,I've literally fell over with laughter, might be the vodka I'm having while watching these, surprised it's only got two comments, more will be coming in,just wait,I've only just found these, write onto part three.

  Thanks Sean, I really enjoyed doing these. Regarding your observation of the very few comments, I am not too bothered as I am of a generation which sits awkwardly in today's social media world. Like Ollie having been brought up to believe that boasting and continually talking about ones self was bad manners or 'bad form' as Oliver would have said. So making these is really to provide some entertainment to a few friends and people such as yourself who appreciated this giant of a man, his generosity, humour and his talent. Cheers for now

  @@houseofmagicuk1 More fans of Oliver will discover your work,it's just that it's at the bottom of the KZread section with Oliver's interviews,so fans don't know of it yet,I'm planning a Oliver Reed pub crawl soon,just the pubs he went to when he was based in that huge mansion in Surrey, just researching the area now, is it true that Oliver's old mansion has been converted into appartments, just wondering if that was correct,thanks again,Simon.

  i was so in awe of that show he did on channel 4 it was sad when it ended i cried as wouldnt see it again i loved the magic he did and all the other acts it ws such a shame it finshed when it did

  I heard this song when I was about a year old or so, and i think it really affected me. I remember hearing some years ago that this song was awesome in terms of the video and music.

  It’s amazing that this guy had seen so much of the burgeoning rock business in the 60s and 70s and been a major albeit nearly silent contributor. Even though the crude digital guitar pierces the track, the rhythm is hypnotic and the saving-grace of a vocal harmony soars on it. Really nice stuff.

  I tried a bit of dancing cane - it was a disaster lol you make it look so easy. Hope the pandemic isn't affecting your place too much. Rest assured we're coming back down in 2021 with family this time and I'm planning on clearing out your shop. I do need to stop concentrating on buying things though and actually do a bit of book study. Any books you would recommend? Thanks in advance for any advice at all

  Yes the pandemic has indeed affected our venue. We were lucky to get in two sold out Halloween shows at limited numbers but the usual Xmas season is really restricted with only one event (usually we do at least a dozen). I am not sure what books to recommend, depends what kind of magic you are into.
