    Thank you, was lovely to meet you. I am very impressed with your beautiful photos of Scarborough. I love Scarborough, very nice town and beaches. I come over to surf at Scarborough or Cayton a few times a year. I filmed this after the Simple Minds concert last month.

    Terrific footage Lee. My wife and I stayed at the Leeway Hotel along there in late 2022 and loved Scarborough. Looks like you stayed close to the same place! Thanks for the video and I enjoyed the music you chose also.

    Thank you. I just decided to point the camera out the window after we came back from the Simple Minds concert at the open air theatre, and leave it running when we went to bed until we had to leave. I didn’t know what it would come out like. Beautiful area.

    Thank you. Louth is a lovely town to live in. I grew up in the town but moved away for a few years. I moved back to Louth from living in a city 20 years ago. No regrets and the lifestyle is pretty relaxed here 😃.

    So the Lincolnshire Poacher is now a private house. That is a loss to Louth heritage. It was visited by Winston Churchill on one of his wartime inspection tours. I've only ever been in it once many years ago.

    Thank you so much for filling my request,my grandparents are buried in Legbourne church yard and uncle Les donated the bench in the doorway of the church,sorry about your puncture,been in Oz since 1970,been back 6 times.

  • @leeharrisonlincs
    @leeharrisonlincs7 ай бұрын

    Thank you for the lovely feedback very much appreciated. Legbourne is a lovely village and the church is beautiful. I had to redo the church scene as the the days are so short here in December and the light wasn’t very good on Boxing Day when got there. My bike tyre went flat when got into Legbourne. Ironically I had a problem with my car when went back on New Years Day to take photos so did not have much time there. Where is Oz are you? We are back in Perth in February.

    I remember listening to Lincs FM on its launch from my home in Sheffield, used to pick up loud and clear and in Stereo! Nothing wrong with this station in the beginning but over the years became like all the others with the same Top 20 tracks repeated thru the day and the oldies kept slowly disappearing. Only got saved from being added to the list of stations to become Greatest Hits Radio, but for how long.......?

  • @leeharrisonlincs
    @leeharrisonlincs6 ай бұрын

    Very sad what has happened to Lincs FM recently since the ‘Exiting new changes’. It’s the same with Viking FM too. Most the local presenters fired along with many other local stations. All the same feed as Hits Radio playing the same songs over and over again and only one local presenter for 3 1/2 hours in the morning on weekdays. At least the news is still local for now. Lincs FM was once a great radio station until it was taken over.

    Lee's walks and bike rides are lovely. Just filming and minimal, essential commentary. You see the places and not a continuous close-up of the KZreadr's face, and little else, which is all too common on YT.

    Thank you for this lovely video. I was born in Louth in 1962 and lived there until i was 10.
