It went from a club to Walgreens and Blockbuster now just walgreen and a ugly ass Hialeah apt .. Miss the old day and King King video in the front behind Bk .. The old daysss baby

I remember when this station was on. I was listening to it more than Power 96. Especially the afternoon traffic mix. When I got off work. I was saddened when the station went off the air in 2004. Took 10 years to get a proper Dance music station with Revolution 93.5.

casanova's was built in the parking lot of the bowling alley that was there and I remember so fondly hanging out across the street at the pizzeria casolis come on who remembers those places the bowling alley and casolis across the street

Casanova was on East 9th Street and I grew up on East 6th Street and I would drive by there on my bicycle everyday as they were constructing the place I even took some plywood from the trash for our tree house I was only like 10 or 11 LOL but such great memories from being a DJ throughout the 80s and now getting back in the DJ game Love Freestyle forever Dj ADRIAN TIMEWARP DJS thanks for this video

2001???? that was somewhere around 1994, 95 possibly early 1996 when they extended the lunch mix to 2 hours.. I think even by 1996 it went back to 1 hour... 2001 power 96 was already transitioning to the new format where they got rid of all the classic music and dance and went more urban 99jamz style... Nothing will ever be like Power 96 in the 80s and 90s.. It''s sad to even listen to them now tied into all the commercial crap these days.. Nothing from local artists anymore or even a local scene...

💯. I remember in the late 90s. When I was taking classes at MDC. I'd go to my car to listen to the mid day mix between classes and they'd play this type of music and New Wave mixes. After 2001 it went downhill. Only DJ Zog would do some 90s music during the traffic jam mixes.

This recording is excellent and I love the mix! I add about 18 dB of high shelf EQ at 9 kHz to give it a bit of top end. I wish that new guy vito0329 posting all the old Power96 mixes would reupload his stuff in this or higher quality.
