  I think we won't be getting Miyabi for a long time in the foreseeable future, so I think you have enough time to save up for her again. They might give her the Ayaka treatment where she be released in 2.0 update or something. I'm not sure though. It's all up to you in the end, but in my opinion Zhu Yuan is worth it since she will be the only Ether dps we currently have.

  ​@@ravychanuwu we presume miyabi is at least 1.3, cause the release schedule is based on factions 1.2 we are getting sons of calydon faction then 1.3 is likely sector 6 based on leaks, assuming miyabi is before yanagi and harumasa she would be the first half

  Mono ice is at least 2x stronger than ether meta teams rn, physical anamoly comes close but no the gap is still huge I have a mono ice ellen meta team, and my zhu yuan team and piper anamoly but mono ice is still much stronger

  Honestly besides Shiyu Defense/Ether compatibility, there really isn't much. If you like her character/playstyle then get her. Otherwise save your Polychromes for characters you really like, you can get through Shiyu Defense fairly easy if you build your characters to their strongest. BILLY GANG 4L

  Yeah, all these "Don't Skip" Videos are honestly a bit bait. It's still launch time and if you're used to gacha games by now, you'll know that launch time DPS are always the first ones to get phased out quickly for more stronger/powercreeped ones in the future. They're not going to release mandatory characters to pull for on launch, as the devs would be forced to cater future content around the meta of these characters, such that everyone that couldn't manage to get them would be left with a subpar launch experience with no other characters to fall back on due to everyone still having a small roster.

  ​@@Tunnelsnakes it's the launch, which is the reason why, you should have a somewhat built and capable characters from the beginning to be able to clear endgame so you can get the full rewards... the quicker you're account is set, the better and more you can save for chaaracters that you DO WANT

  @@haruyanto8085 “Saving the characters you do want” That’s the point. You don’t need 1.0 characters to clear Shiyu or Hollow Zone content, even if you don’t S rank them. Sure, they might help because their flavor is obviously catered towards 1.0 character elemental weaknesses, but you should still be able to progress and get most of the rewards as f2p until your most desired character arrives. Telling people to spend multiples of 1600 master tapes just to clear a shiyu node to get full 300 master tapes instead of 200 with A rank clears just doesn’t make all that much sense to me.

  Pre farming is experiencing the chtr at the moment they get them, experience the gameplay, for 3 weeks, then 50/50 they either get bored or still play because they used to it. Then prefarm new character, the cycle of short term happiness from gacha lives on. It's not only for hype, but it's building the character instantly for 10 mins compared to building them for 4 weeks. It's efficient, optimal, and always staying updated with the hype, and not falling behind and ditch the game completely because of it. For some players, they are laid back, they don't pre farm for whatever reason it maybe. They enjoy the game as is and not speed run new content, basically casual playing, no rush.

  I can give a counter to this argument though: if you pre-farm and you have other characters that can use said materials or you know another upcoming character uses said materials or know the game doesn't add new ascension materials every so many patches (like say Honkai Star Rail or Genshin does whenever they get a new planet/region) pre farming has no real negative consequences either as those resources can easily be used on someone else (hell as for released characters go there's many sword characters that need the slimes (not to mentioned for the weapons/swords as well) and as for fire you got Chixia, Mortefi, Encore (if you got her while losing 50/50 or from the standard banner). The only materials that may be more unique to said characters would be the plants or whenever other overworld map material you need for the character (plums in Changli's case) but a good many of them are also used for recipes and synthesis as well or likely will be in the future to give them some other use than character ascension and unlike the other materials they don't use waveplates either. And as for the weekly boss materials they'll be needed for a future release character after Changli (and also used on Jinshi) for at least the next couple updates until a new weekly boss is released so unless you're not planning on getting anyone for about 3 to 4 updates they will be used sooner or later (also farming any of the bosses has a chance to give the weapon crafting material as well as give BP points so not farming any of the 3 3x per week is a bad idea anyway). If you have every character in the game maxed already you'd have some point but I don't think that's possible given the amount of time the game's been out though...hell I'm not even on the final world level yet and I've been playing since release...well unless you shove out a ton of cash (even then I don't think enough time has passed to get enough weekly boss materials to max out 2 characters...maybe not even enough for 1 (or just barely) so at least the forgery materials will be useful for someone no matter what and if you pre farm the exp/echo exp/shells all will be useful for characters later no matter what (if you're not farming a specific material you're at least farming one of those if nothing else...especially since the game doesn't give much resonator exp imo...I'm always low on that even more so than echo exp).

  I think this depends because the same material can be used for other characters so even if you don’t get the character you want it not wasted because at some point you will use. If you don’t prefer then whether it for the limited characters or a standard one, you will be capped to farming daily. Weapons and skills use this same materials so I think this is bad advice unless you already have your characters and weapons max and rather farm tacit fields but that’s just my opinion

  I pre farmed for hu tao back in 2021 for her first rerun, i had 26K primos and about 50 or so star glitter, was a light spender so it eas accumulated from monthly pass and skipping almost everyone before her, now i did have a 50/50 and i knew it wouldn't be won, but i prefarmed anyways, and lo and behold, when the day arrived, within the 5th multi, i not only lost tye 50/50 but the very next image was hu tao, my first and only back to back 5* drop in my account's history, To think I never pre farmed again after that day

  Imagine prefarm any mats for any char for changli u can prefarm mats also for encore or mortefi in jinshi case u can give these skill upgrade materials to jiyan or his weapon its not really that hard if u already have something and you prefarm around ur acc
