    Awesome, you covered everything succinctly thank you 🙏🏼 When I found out after purchasing my 17 F-type R with 21K I realized no dipstick and thought are they serious until your insight into readout level, but the process of resetting oil service indicator is utterly insane❗️🤪🤯👈, those boys across the pond are touched🤣 Having an issue I don't seem to find any answers to online and I'll be damned if I'll bring it to my local crooked Jaguar dealer, requested a 165 point pre-purchase inspection and they gave me a BS inspection with only a quarter of those points and tried charging $469, that didn't happen and service advisor was a douchce and belligerent but ultimately refunded over half of that back. My dilemma is with the automatic deployment of rear spoiler, it's not deploying any longer and getting alert readout ⚠️ Spoiler not available and get same readout when I attempt to manually raise it for cleaning mode with ignition off but accessories on. Any insight would be helpful since haven't seen any solutions in online Jaguar forum or on KZread and haven't yet found local mechanic qualified to work on said beast, thanks.🙏🏼

    @@echauncey12 as for the wing, the lift gears have position sensors plastic mounted to plastic not the best design. possibly a broken tooth on the gear or bad positioning sensor. This is a simple cheap modification to vent the factory electronic recirculating valves to atmosphere. Basically allows you to hear the turbo pressure “blow off” without having to waste 100+ dollars buying an actual blow off valve. Minimal if any performance gains, Mostly just for the enthusiast that wants to hear the pressure relief between shifts and snap throttle.

    Same, pinging under certain conditions, and way under powered in the higher end of the RPM range. the injector made a huge difference. As for overall power the combination of the Smaller SC pulley and the injector is a welcomed and noticeable difference. we installed a A/F wideband after, and our A/F is spot on the entire rpm range now.

    Hello, once again. The expandable loom you are using, is that 3/8" ? I tried contacting the company and the closest i could come to what i thought was the number they said was 3/8". Just want to verify before i order. BTW the # they gave me was x001104165. Also, the connectors you used at the motors, are you happy with them? Just want to make sure before i shell out $150 on a kit. Thanks again. Demon

  • @JPSTREETPERFORMANCE
    @JPSTREETPERFORMANCE2 ай бұрын

    Yes it’s a 3/8 loom i used on all wires, then just some heat shrink at each end to close them off nicely around the pass-thru wires. As for the Connectors at the motors they work and look great for me, only hard part is making sure you get a good crimp on the tiny 22 gauge wires as the connector terminals are technically for a larger gauge wire. I found that stripping the wire further then folding it over on itself to bulk it up helps with crimping.

I've mounted everything but the relay ( screws I got were too big ) and the power supply, to the backer board. I was about to begin the wiring and was concerned about using bare hands on the boards. The arduino fell out of the tray while I was securing it to the board and I picked it up by the edges but I'm not sure how touchy it is to static charge. What I can see from your video you were wiring bare handed but I didn't see you directly touch the arduino or the relay so wasn't sure if I had an issue or not. Thanks.

I tried to locate pins that would allow me to make up jumpers to " simplify " the installation. Try as I might, I was unable to locate pins that would allow me to insert the wires and crimp them. I had taken the precaution of buying some pre-made jumper wires . I could o ly locate 24 gauge jumpers. I spoke with some electronics guys and they all said that should be sufficient. What I want to know is what gauge wire did you use to connect the Audrina, Motor drivers, etc. I would really like to get past this point and make some progress again after this long delay I have had.
