We had to use the Tamiya bodies for the tamiya cup race that i used to race in , it did work with the Twister body too

MM Motorcase? You have the 98mm wheel base? I ordered the 4100kv motor which is a shorter motorcase (MM2) which looks just like the mr03 evo motorcase. So it looks like the 5600kv and 8100kv which got the MM motorcase but no disc damper. So you got a disc damper upgrade right? It comes with some kind of ball/pivot connection instead of the disc like the 4100kv version

I thought all the evo chassis were the same just the motors were different , mine was a 5600kv till i did the stock motor in , the disc plate was from Xpower

Maybe try some reflex speed dish wheels. It has a raised sidewall for the front. Maybe try some PN slicks. Med or firm. Firm is about equivalent to kyosho 30 degree tires. O and try to polish the front king pins

Hi. Do you mind telling what disk damper do you have and what wheel offsets do you have for the McLaren P1 body? I bought a P1 white body for my MR-04 and with 2mm offset front, the tires rubs the body when turning. Also the disk damper I have (2nd hand so I don’t know the brand, probably PN) also interferes with the body too.

I have an X power damper and 1.5 offset on all 4 wheels , although the Mercedes body is run now is quicker and i can get 2.0 front and 3.0 rear

Had an issue bending my kingpin after a gnarly crash with a newer driver. also lost the spacer that goes beneath the knuckle... cant wait to just replace the front end.

i think you could but i just used one man per base for the missile launcher , and the mini of the month worked well for the extra guys on the bases , i got about 15 from my local GW

I am so happy to see someone else who is basing their Terminators and Assault Marines four to a stand. I'm doing it to stretch my forces as well as to not have them so crowded on the bases. I'm considering doing the same with the Heavy Weapon Marines, but haven't decided. I'm still trying to figure out what chapters I want to do. I'm not a great painter, but I want to have some color on the table. I want a primary loyalist force with one company of another chapter, as well as the same for the traitors. The traitors will be Son's of Horus and the World Eaters. I've got the choices for the loyalist down to three, I will choose between Ultramarines, Salamanders, and Imperial Fists.

best i can figure is you could use some micro tubing to form the other side of the tube for the #16 part. Or modeling putty/clay instead. but that is so much work for a tube.

Thanks for the info! The mortar sharing a component with the mortar is concerning!…. Now, making a simple mold with instamold and miliput should be good solution.

It's interesting to see how you get so many playable options out of this kit. About the missile launcher, I can't tell from the vid, but if you find a piece of sprue wide enough, you can round over the other side.
