i know this is 6years old but you helped me today thank you <33333
Absolutely not what was titled or what I was looking for.
I have problem with the choker where high pull strength is inevitable. It cannot be left like that. It sill open. Just a matter of time. I have found 1 mm diameter rings ( Stainless steal.). That is a better alternative but even thought it will be 1 mm I am not sure for the long time use. I cannot solder that union spot but I have found that there is an epoxy that hardens. I have with 2 ingredients and you mix it like 404. I want to put a tiny amount ot drop with the tips of the needle then leave it to dry. It will be harden then I may use a sandpaper. Touch there with the sandpaper kindly to make it smooth thats all. I do not know if it is a good idea or not. What do you think?
What tool brand do you use?
wo, I was working so hard, thank you for sharing
wow that was great, I've made earrings before but never used this technique, it was always hit or miss before, lol....now I'll be able to make them much better!!
Thanks for your sharing your beautiful ideas.
You are so welcome!
Explained in an easy simple way. Thanks
Glad it helped
Perfect video! Exactly what I was looking for thank you!
Great to hear!
Thanks!
You are very welcome!
Thank you so much! I just got into jewelry and charm making but I couldn't for the life of me understand what I was supposed to do to close the eye pin without making a mess of it, so this was a huge help-
I am so glad you found the tutorial useful! Thank you for watching.
Hi there. Can you tell us where you bought the chains?
I often buy my chains similar to these from Hobby Lobby, maybe try there? Goodluck on ur journey :)
would needle nose pliers be an alternative to flat or chain nose?
I prchez this
I’m panicking bc my necklace got caught in my clothes and it is really important to me and the charm fell off... it’s not broken it’s just the charm litterally just pulled off idk how to explain it but idk how to get it back on bc I have to get the charm past a jump ring but I don’t have pliers 😩😥
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much! I really struggle with closing these!
I am happy to hear you found the video helpful! Thanks for watching. Happy Crafting!
What is the hardness of the wire you use for the head pins? Thanks
I typically use 20 gauge. A soft hard wire works great.
Thanks for sharing these great tips! I have a huge stash of beads and findings, but haven't worked with them for years! This video renews my hope to return to jewelry making!
How do you decide what diameter wire to use for different bead/marble sizes?
Majority of all glass beads and semi precious stones on the market will fit 20g wire. I primarily work with beads that range from 4mm to 10mm if that helps. If you run into a bead hole being too small, you can use a bead reamer to widen the hole. Do not use a reamer on crystal beads for they are susceptible to cracking.
@@Craftminute thank you
Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Tip: My pliers had ridges, but I just covered them up with tape and they worked just fine.
Thank you! Very easy to follow and you kept your hands away from the jump rings so we can see what it is you are doing with out trying to turn my phone all around to get a good Angel.!
Thank you so much for the very informative, straight forward info, it is just what I needed. I am a raw beginner but had no trouble with recreating what you just taught me. Just finished my first pair of dangle earrings with your help which turned out better than I could hope for. Love it - MORE PLEASE
Thanks...for doing it at a pace I could follow. You weren't in a big hurry to explain...I appreciate it.
Very pretty. My question is what is the purpose of looping your wires in opposite directions?
I do not have a specific reason why. This is just a personal preference I do for a more balanced looking design.
I can’t do the push out and down part, it’s way to difficult for me and it hurts ):
Are you using a stainless steel wire? Try the german style wire or one that is sterling silver. This will be softer to work with.
easy to follow. great teacher!!!!
+Christine Sepuya I appreciate the feedback. Thank you so much for watching.
Very nice!
+Brit Nicole Thank you!
You didn't show how to center the eye.
Diana, the steps I outlined will provide you with the results of a centered eye. With the initial 90 degree bend of the wire, you will prevent yourself from ending up with a P shape. The important part is making sure you make one complete turn at the end for the closure. If for some reason the pressure you apply offsets the eye, just insert your pliers back into the circle until it fits snug and apply pressure backwards until the wire is made centered. I have experienced a lot of people trying to do this with just the tip of the pliers. This will mess up your shape. You need to insert it the pliers fully to the size of your circle.
Well done! I teach beginners how to make simple loops, among other things, but the very precise way you've described the dynamic when a bead is involved is great!
+Jen Loomans I appreciate the feedback! Thank you so much for your comment and view!

Hi - where did you get the cover that you have on the one side of your anvil? I would love to have one.
+halasalready It came with the anvil when it was purchased. You can find it at Michaels Arts & Crafts stores. Hope this helps. Happy Crafting!
Thank you for the video. It was very easy to follow. You explained it very well. I can't wait to make this. :o)
Great to hear Winnie. Thanks for stopping by and glad to hear you found it useful. Happy Crafting!
Nice video but would love to see things as you do rather than upside down. Many video producers flip the videos so that is possible and I hope you will consider doing that too! THANKS!! (I subbed today too.)
+Kathy Spiers Thanks for the great feedback. I will definitely consider this for future videos. I appreciate you stopping by. Happy Crafting!
