  got my oasis 3 in graphite color 32gb yesterday and i love to read manga/comics. i love oasis 3 its a game changer because of the page turner plus the premium feels 😊

  I literally can not understand WHY they discontinued the oasis. I just got a Kobo color bc I wanted the buttons (and color), but I think I'm gonna regret not having kindle unlimited 😭

  I bought one the other day too; it's the fifth e-reader I've owned, and now I understand why everyone is a fan! It's so light and the asymmetrical design makes it a joy to hold. Not really minding the so-called "poor" battery life; I don't mind charging mine every other day or so (charging takes only about 40 minutes anyway). Thanks for this review, I feel validated in my purchase. Also I own a graphite version but the champagne gold is so pretty 😍

  I went to using a notebook to real with myself. I pulled out anything I was not using. I also switch layouts depending on what's happening that month.

  I’m actually thinking of switching to the Paperwhite from the Oasis because the Oasis is really slippery for me and the ergonomic holder does not work well for my small hands. And as others have said, the battery really never has charged to 100% for me. I hope that Amazon will come out with a new Kindle with buttons because that is the main reason I got the Oasis in the first place to replace my Kindle 3 that I had for forever.

  I bought mine today and the "discontinuation" just pushed me to do it... but also as a left handed person, I don't want to struggle with holding my kindle.

  I got this same kindle oasis and I keep mine in airplane mode. It helps save the battery life so much.

  I keep all mine on airplane mode unless I need to sync or download something. It helps battery life immensely!

  I’m also a bit of a kindle collector. I bought the Oasis in 2019 and I also have a Paperwhite Signature and just bought a Scribe. Oasis is still my favorite. The buttons are such a nice feature! I hold kindles with my left hand a lot and have to either stretch my thumb to be able to turn the page on touch screens or use my other hand. With the buttons it’s just a simple click under my finger no matter which way I hold it. I really hope Amazon brings back physical buttons into their line up. Right now the downside I have with my Oasis is the battery life. It does not hold a charge nearly as well as the other kindles. I have to charge it every couple days with heavy use.

  Which B6 cover is this original slim? Original? Or b6 plus?

  This is a B6+ I believe. I have a regular B6 that works also but needs a plastic piece on the back to slide it in. B6+ fits the cover by itself.

  So glad it was helpful! I should have said that you do not need multiple kindles! I’m just crazy! I would suggest getting one that Amazon will continue to update for longer. Not sure how long they will continue to update the oasis!

  Yes I have summer burn out. I use HP mini, skinny and classic with my stalogy Would maybe going to half size help you? It's a little btwn mini and classic. I was thinking of that maybe for home. Mini is my edc/otg planner Where are fitness sheets from?

  I switched to a simply layout for this year. I was finding that I wasn’t writing enough to justify a larger planner page. it also helps because I can decorate less which is the thing that tends to stress me out even though I love it. I use the monthly spread for my budget but my detailed budget tracking is digital so I can automate the math. I also found that I was scribbling on a lot of scrap paper so now the simply layout allows me to scribble in the notes section, so I don’t have random posted notes everywhere. LOL As much as I love, love, love decorating my planner, the thing that made my planner usable for me decorating less!

  Isn’t that bag heavy with all of that stuff? I get that people “need” their stuff when they travel but isn’t vacation the point of vacationing and detaching from home life and being present in the moment of your trip. Unless it’s a work trip then I can understand but otherwise wow. You packed planners, laptop, iPad Pro with keyboard, monitor, bibles, like that’s your whole life😅
