  I never heard anything from the men I mentioned,they were to smart and dignified.....but soldiers,peeps who would do things would talk. ...None of the people I mentioned ever said an unkind word to me or about anyone .....I have. Nothing respect,honor and loyalty to those men tbo this day .....but there errr many funny guys associated of italian heritage which I found to funny and authentically strong like no othrt people on 🌎 .

  This is truth..... My brother in law was a piano player at a Mob owned/Run club in Cleveland,And I grew up around many mob. Guys...I met The Boss of Bosses Russel Buffalino, I knew his driver,his second in commands grand son ......and I knew a guy who did construction,beside being a mason w cement......they act and joke just like that .....I've heard stories the same but diff.......God Bless Peace

  The very first English dub was the best version but this version i can't even watch it the dialogue is horrible. I own the first English dub on VHS and I bought it in 1992 for $88.99 out of a magazine but it was worth it and compared to this version it still is worth it because the first English dub seems non-existent can't find it anywhere online.

  勝新太郎の本物の『座頭市』と比べると、たけしのはコメディ版とすら呼べないレベルの超劣化版『座頭市』 たけし版『座頭市』は、役者の演技のレベルが最低すぎる、棒読み棒立ちの演技で見るに堪えない 敵役に迫力のある俳優がいなさ過ぎて小悪党にしか見えず緊迫感が無い、完全にキャスティングミス カメラワークに工夫が無く安直すぎて臨場感が足り無い 江戸時代なら庶民はもっと汗臭そうで小汚いはずなのに（市は旅のあんまなんだからなおのこと）、さっきシャワー浴びてきたかのような小奇麗な役者たちでは江戸時代の空気感が伝わってこない。もっと汗をかいて撮影すべきだった 安っぽいアクションも多く、勝新版のような観客を魅せる工夫が足りない 安易なCGの多用とグロに寄りすぎて、座頭市の剣技の美しさが全く表現できていない だからたけし版は何もかもが安っぽい こんなのを座頭市として世に送り出した会社はセンスが無さ過ぎる
