Have a look at the MC Garage test on here a few years back, they left O-Rings from a chain in WD40 for a month I think it was - no ill effect at all. I think it was Bikesocial that did a similar test too, same result. Bike manufacturers recommend paraffin to clean chains, the biggest ingredient in WD40 in naphtha/paraffin I believe. I've used WD40 on my chain for knocking on for 30 years and never a problem. My current bike is a 2017 with a OEM D.I.D. O-Ring chain, always used WD40 to clean the chain and it's fine. *Edit* : Link to the MC garage vid: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eK6tzZanoZbbl5M.htmlsi=mAMSbtJaxE8pGSP9

I've had mine since September last year and have put 13,500 miles on it. Those Dunlops die at 10,000 miles but throw some good tires on like a set of Michelin road 6 its night and day. I've got a toce full exhaust, graves velocity stacks, sprockets, and a tune. It's a lot of fun, put some bar ends on the bike, those factory mirrors are pretty terrible, clutch bite point can vary on the dealer that set up the bike, mine would slip when wide open throttle after the break in, had to adjust the cable my self, dont give the dealer your money for an oil and filter change there's literally no need, its incredibly easy and you can use common hand tools. When i did the spark plugs at 12,000 miles it literally took 30 minutes. You can do the majority of all the maintenance on this bike yourself.

Silly question maybe but how far are you supposed to push them in? As far as they'll go? When I do that everything seems to get too muffled and blocking out more than just windnoise. Still can't hear my music clearly at 50mph+ either at max volume. (Neither can I without plugs due to the wind.) I have fairly small ear holes btw maybe that's giving me some trouble too idk.

Electric motorcycles will probably never be great. Bikes need to be light, able to be booted and throttle goosed and give at least 110 miles range. Basing this on a vtr1000f which is about the lowest mileage I will live with daily. They are just no where near this bikes. They are either extremely heavy or unable to give a decent range while being booted. At the moment they will not be providing me a solution.

Needing to hear the click of a car door is wild lol On the first like 3-4 driving lessons i remember talking was quite distracting, especially on the first lesson i could barely talk and drive at all... but as someone who listens to music literally about 90% of the time, and i like to have it loud enough so i cant hear anything at all. I dont believe for a second that you need to be able to hear anything on the road. You just need to be more aware with your eyes And that doesnt just apply to driving. Even on call of duty for example, a game that is widely concidered a game you need clear audio on to be good at. I started playing with just music at some point, and i actually do even better. You just adapt to being more careful with your eyes. Trusting your ears too much is actually a liability, more than an advantage. Coming from someone who used to peddle bike a lot, listen to music all the time, and then had a car for only a month before getting a motorbike, i had absolutely no issues adapting to a bike. I was comfortable within 10 minutes without even doing my cbt. So my point, it simply comes down to the person at the end of the day. For you maybe it took 4 months for it to feel safe. For others, it might just take a day or less. But it is absolutely safe if you're comfortable and confident to do so
