One of the hardest songs in hip hop history Nas is the 🐐 nobody mixes story telling , street , prophet , bars and charisma like Nasir jones … even with some of the average beats he has rapped over in his career lol

Cole is the only rapper to get cosigned by rappers from all generations legends/underground alike and in his first rap beef he quits after 2 days 😭 omg this shi still hurts my heart 💀

It’s deeper than that. Everyone who knows anything about rap knows that Cole would hold his own against anyone.

This song shows he realised hip pop is not about making main stream hits but actual songs that talk about the culture and issues in black communities that’s real hip pop j Cole thought he had to make commercial hits to make it .. but nas wasn’t fucking with that whole image.. that’s why Cole started making more conscious rap

i dont think enough people talk about this moment in hip hop , not only how cole acted and put his heart and soul into the track , but it hit so hard nas responded , with made nas proud , be humble , cole really is a different kind of rapper , really respect him not continuing to stay in that kendrick and drake beef, there was a lot of shade thrown his way for that move but i dont think it wouldve looked good no matter what he did

Ain't no way Cole let his hard-core fans down. It takes someone who really understands, Hip Hop and in the sense of the reality, that for entertainment reasons only, these guys we look up to, have to choose themselves over the world. I want to say that, J. Cole is a human but I can only resonate him with a god. Hip Hop is deep, please take your time, to listen to, "Might Delete Later for a better clarification of my statement.
