The only one rate out of them is the trainers mini. The drawback with these though is their still not easy access for raw meat you would normally feed your dog. Messy because of the small opening. Belt is really good quality but the colours are rather naff. The small silicon and the other ones with a belt loop also pants. To small to get your hand in and reward quickly and they fall off all the time. The other punches, not very handy for fresh cooked meat, pate, sprats etc as they get mucky inside. I have had many treat pouches over the years and I wish they would design one with multiple useful pockets, like to hold a phone, car keys and a useful removable ( for washing ) silicon part inside a treat pocket for mucky treats and then have a zip on the outside of the pocket to keep anything from falling out when not in use. The manufacturers must make a fortune on all these treat useless pouches that if we could find one good one that ticks all the boxes, it might be expensive but so worth it. But then the manufacturers would soon loose sales as we wouldn’t need anything else. Plus for what it is, the trainers pouch is so expensive. Have you seen the Voila treat pouch…. Jeez, that’s expensive.

Thank you. I'm basically retired dog trainer but getting a standard Xolo in the next few weeks. She will need a lot of training and socialization because they are a primitive breed. I need a pouch.

By any chance, does anyone make a good treat pouch with a water bottle holder?

Hi Sheri, not many that I know of, but examples like the attached might be suitable? I haven't any experience with them but they look like they'd be up to the job. :) www.regatta.com/blackfell-iii-hip-pack-with-bottle-black-surfspray/ www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073PPZRHK/

Wow! Loving the international vibe! A lot of the time I use mild cheddar cheese or cocktail sausages chopped up into small roughly pea-sized cubes. That said, it will depend on the dog, location and what we're training. Do some googling for what foods exactly dogs can and can't have, but generally speaking it's great to get an idea of what your dog likes and to have a variety to draw from, including things like fruit and veg, as well as the ones mentioned above and liver cake or whatever else you know your dog likes. Once I have that list of say 10 different things, I'm gonna try and rank them from 1-10 most liked first. If we're training in a relatively quiet and distraction-free environment on a behaviour the dog knows well, I might choose to use something towards the bottom of the list. If it's a new behavior then I definitely want to use something a bit more interesting and if we're going to be working on something in a distracting environment then I'm going to want to use the sexiest treats I've got!
