There was a full-page ad for this single in the June 30, 1973 issue of Billboard. The song was written by Ian Whitcomb, who had a top 10 hit in 1965 with "You Turn Me On". Whitcomb also produced the song and Bill Justis ("Raunchy"} arranged the song.
