  @LivingAsLisha I am from GA I remember starting school at the beginning of Aug all the time lol. I have been in TX 5 years. When I started teaching was after the pandemic and the 20-22 they had us on a year round schedule where we went to school aug-june (to help students catch up). This is our first full summer!

  Hi. I just discovered your channel. I would love to see a video about how you have the first graders do research on the computer for their writing. My grade level co-workers and I were just talking the other day about how we would like to do something like that with our first graders but none of us have ever seen it done in the primary grades and would love to get ideas.

  I've watched a number of your videos and I appreciate your way of teaching. The kids are really engaged and it's motivating to me as someone looking to transition into teaching after a long corporate life. I started (sub) teaching and I am loving it. I may be offered a K-2 role so your videos have really helped me to see how to be unique and maintain a productive class that makes learning fun.
