Hey loved your video, i have a question regarding cera vs carno Like you and others say its easy for cera but im struggling hard there, like sure i can dodge their charge most the times but then again finding an opening is pretty hard cause even after you dodge you might still get alt attacked by them ,i dont know maybe im doing it wrong but it seems you need to be wary of so many things , they can charge you , run away , alt attack, the fact that they are WAY faster makes it hard to dance around them the way we do to tenos and stegos ,i wanted to ask if you make a clip showing how to deal with carnos as a cera 😅
Honestly, I have the same problem lol. I actually haven’t killed an adult carno as an adult cerato yet, nor really any carnos at my cerato’s age if it isn’t full adult. If I run into one at some point though Ill definitely record it if possible, I think you really do have to be more wary with cerato but I also think using mostly charged bites and alt bites when possible get the most damage out and you can beat a carno that way. So if carno is chasing, be cautious and use charged bites. If you end up facetanking, try alt biting but also trying to dodge here and there. Im no pro but hope this helps lol!

@@dtbrex08 the problem of only getting this buff around bodies for a dino that's super slow for its size is kind of devastating 😅 he was supposed to be bully now you should be extra cautious 90 percent of times cause there is no body , and also for dino that relies on agility not getting hit to survive(cause it's low hp just can't take punishment) getting out of body range is pretty easy and now you don't have your buff 🙂 , like cera (aside from carno matchup) is pretty fu king good its just he is not what he was supposed to be and he is good for other reasons.

@@dtbrex08 ok just making sure lol allo was my fav from the beginning because it was a decent carnivore and fast unlike the spino (im not counting rex bc it wasnt added when i played) which is a large, slow carnivore and strong but allo was my choice and the sounds were awesome. my friend and i used to play allo everyday together before she passed away from cancer

I love cera so much but my only complaint is his 3 call which (unless they changed it) was his chuffing noise or something similar and it didn’t sound intimidating or very loud so I would use his charge bite as a pseudo 3 call when I needed too
Yeah his 3 call is still the chuff, I really hope they change it to an upgraded version of the old 3 call instead and make chuff either a 5 call (new call lol) or make it to where its not so annoying to deal with. I agree except I can’t get the same 3 call feeling using the charge bite so its even more annoying for me 🤣 his old 3 call was so underrated too tho

@@dtbrex08 A lot of the time yea it's mostly because people don't know when to run away, but there are other reasons for it aswell, like Cera can beat Carno because Carno's charge is kinda useless unless you are using it on someone who is sitting or afk because it takes time to activate and is very easy to dodge, combined with the cooldown and the stam usage half the time it's a mistake to use it at all. A big reason why Cera is so good is it's agility, yea it should be able to dodge some attacks but I think it can have a very small nerf in that regard because it's essentially a slower, much stronger Omni that can make you vomit.

Honestly carno is still really fun to play and a well timed ambush charge is deadly on small things but yeah they should make it less punishing. Honestly just make it 6.5 carno with some adjustments, like keep the stam it has now but lower the weight maximum for knocking things down so they can’t easy kill ceras and tenos (even though they were hard enough to kill imo)
They need to do something with the Stego power swing controls cause it's just pure dogshit at the moment. If you stop running for 0.000001 seconds before swinging it will do the stationary swing. Why Stego even needs a running start-up to do the forward power swing is beyond me, like why does the defensive fat slow herbivore have a move that only works on the offensive?
Idk honestly, they just need to make it easier to use/aim imo. I get why it needs the attack so maybe it isnt stuck to the ground whdn using its attacks but its wayyy too hard to use right now. I do see it coming in handy when fighting a large allo pack or a rex or something though.
I might be bad at stego but anti stego is another story lol Also hear me out ceras manual vomit is pretty cool to use when you get a kill and then vomit on it showing that IT IS your kill lol… I hope they increase the manual vomit rot time though so it actually noticeably speeds it up, enough to where it rots in a couple of minutes or something. Should I get Path of titans? I have a ps4 rn and it’s in pretty good condition. I barely have any ps4 games and I think this would be a great addition. Only thing that’s turns me away is the 30$ price and the quest system. So should I get it?
I’d say get it if your internet is good and you’re used to using a controller for dinosaur games, if you don’t like the quest system there are community servers to help with that. Otherwise though I’d say get it, unless you maybe wanna try an easier dino game then try Primal Carnage but otherwise yeah I’d say get it, its worth it. Its better on pc though.

oh wow what a coincidence. i encountered a group of 4-5 tenos and 2 dilos in NA 4 EAST hordetest today, i was playing cerato and tried to get a baby teno for food and diets. yknow... survival in the survival game? and then when it ran back to the teno herd 4 calling, i decided to leave them alone, but of course they pursued, mostly 2 of them, but it didn't really bother me then i went back to try to find a lone teno a while later, and the two tenos who had not stopped harassing me earlier saw me across a river and ran at me. i tried to just walk away and show i wasn't gonna fight them and wasn't interested, and they kept following me SCREAMING 3 calls lol THEN two dilos showed up with the REST of the teno herd, like they were grouped together, suspicious AF. and they beat my cerato to death even though i was in the ocean just showing that i wasn't gonna fight. ganged up on me when i started DROWNING. mixpackers and hackers are ruining this game, i swear. the isle is so focused on immersion, but it's not really immersive when 5 tenos team up with 2 dilos to drown and beat up a cerato or any player that just wants to eat and play the game normally lmfao💀 it's not dying and losing a dinosaur that bothers me, cuz you can always regrow... it's having gameplay ruined by people who get so petty over a dinosaur game. like, it's not supposed to be realism 100%, but mixpackers and hackers just ruin the actual fun of the whole "playing as a dinosaur and trying to survive" gimmick. it completely ruins whatever immersion the isle devs are trying to put into it, lmao. there seriously needs to be something done with the hackers at least lol

Def did alright holding your own. Id recommend tho next time post up in water or by a rock to protect your head. You can wedge tenos against the rock and get them stuck with your body for free kills. Stegos weakness tho is that baby head. Stam conservation is a must tho once you run out of stam your helpless when playing steg. I normally dont mixpack unless im in death match servers where you can grow with points. That dilo was ass tho great kill.

Then soon I finally saw the dilos and them walk up to them, so I just kinda minded my own business and showed agression if the dilos got close, so it was clear I didn’t want to mixpack. Then after going back to the lake (I’d traveled through the canyon where the dilos were), one of the dilos started following me and that’s when I started recording. So either the tenos thought I was attacking the dilo, they both planned on just killing me for being “agressive”, or they just wanted to kill me in the first place and hid it.
I don't think you were bad at stego. I mean the stam management could be worked on but you held your own really well. Mixpackers just outright suck, that's why they mixpack. I feel like the fight could've gone differently if you were an adult stego and not an adolescent
Oh yeah if I was an adult I probably could’ve won, the dilo would’ve died either way probably but the tenos were also older than me and thats why they did so much damage and were only stunned. However I probably would’ve died either way because my timing was meh on my part lol. The tenos played surprisingly well Ill be honest but I’ve yet to see a good dilo first hand and it was still really annoying to die that way lol. Didn’t reaaaally care tho cuz I just had this stego logged off at a younger age in a sanctuary and originally planned on playing something else anyways.

I’d tried after to play diablo, not really caring if I died or not, and ran into 2/3 MORE adult tenos in basically the same area as a fresh spawn essentially, and they killed me immediately, turns out they had a cerato to “feed” when I saw my body being eaten. Like, ok, your friends hungry, but… PLAY THE SAME CREATURE LOL and its not like fresh spawns even fill you up much past 1 tick of food anyways. Basically had the same thing happen a day before on the live branch with a baby dilo. Ended up dying to a teno and carno. It was late though on all 3 instances so I guess we can trust the saying: “The freaks come out at night.”

Seeing how vicious pteras can be (i had experience lol they almost pecked me to death as a cera who was low on health), i bet a quetz would be a whole different story.

Supposedly some of the raptors are in the comments saying they weren’t with them but if that was the case and I was the raptors I’d immediately try to get the hypsis out of the equation for giving us easy win mode. Because every time those annoying things spat in my face it was essentially going away from my pc for 7 seconds because I was blind and then locked into an animation.

32:04 I think this is just a problem of overcorrection on the devs' part from Legacy days, back when you could bite and 5 working days later the damage would still apply, leading to shit like drag bites and whatnot. What we have now is still miles better than that garbage but it's a bit too far in the other direction. It feels like the period of time in which the damage applies is shorter than the animation itself.

@@joshuat2751 raptors are pretty popular, and you can also use different diet builds if needed. Ai should spawn more frequently but I think the diets themselves are fine. Frogs are relatively easy to find and you can kill baby raptors etc pretty easily and get diet from them.

Nice, but ngl I really enjoy the longer videos. I know its not easy to get content though. I have been playing Diablo for a week (atleast 4 hours a day) and not a single thing has tried to attack me. Its been very boring. I ended up drowning him off, so I imagine sometimes its pretty hard to get stuff worth showing.
@@Deimos_Day yeah, the timeframe between the second and third clip was about a whole day apart I think and then I had to travel for about 20 minutes, log off for supper, then travel probably another 20 minutes to get there. I did so because I was tired of south for hopefully obvious reasons and I also remembered that tenos and pachies both go to that beach, which I did get a couple pachies as you saw but Im terrible with seeing things before they see me apparently so instead of really ambushing I just ran into the face of the first, and just down the second one, because apparently they were both super unaware 🤣
