Greetings KZreadrs!
Come along for the ride as I hop on the bike and hit the highways and byways on my motorcycles. I will also include maintenance and upgrades as well, specifically things that aren't always available from the community, and hopefully the videos will be as helpful to you as many others have been to me.
Originally from England I now permanently reside in the beautiful state of Wisconsin, I've been in WI since I came to the US in 1993 at the youthful age of 30, how time fly's. This channel was concieved in 2020 and eventually came to life January of 2021 after the Covid nightmare year before, lets make it a good one my friends and for many years to come... see you out there!

@mahirrain466 I agree with you, it's not a big tank for a cruiser. I get somewhere between 145 to 155 miles on a tank full, which isn't horrible but could be better IMO. Thanks for watching!
@@Guvnarides-WI2020 well 145 miles is not bad first i thought it gives like 70 to 80 miles which not fit for cruiser but now you cleared its around 145 to 155 miles which i think is managable for cruiser which is good👍
Do you have the part number for these mirrors
I did the same upgrade but used black teardrops, I'm not a huge chrome fan but each to their own.

@blacklab1059 They are Burley Brand Voyager wax cotton bags, available on Amazon as well as various gear suppliers. I have since switched to the same brand black bags as they look better with my bikes color scheme. I had to install Motone pannier rails for a 2023 Speedmaster that I ordered from EBay. Nice video. I took a current model T120 Black demo out for a test ride today, as I’m contemplating this bike, having been on a Tiger 1050 Sport since 2017 (which I bought new, and is itself a fantastic bike). It’s a glorious bike, with a lot to like, as you and many others have pointed out. Coming from the Tiger, I did find the T120 to be significantly smaller than I expected. It was comfortable, but maybe I’ve just become used to the big bike. I don’t know if I’ll switch in the end, but I’m sure e if I do, I’ll learn to love the bike.

Change the oil pump, if it hasn’t already. It’s a timebomb
When you find out your torque wrench is broken by applying gorilla strength to your lower mounting bolt and breaking it right off. 😢 Fortunately it came out fairly easily

Hi, What is the green light on the dash that permanently flashes ?
That's the indicator light showing the passing lamps are on, which I leave on full time. The light isn't actually flashing, the GoPro makes it look like it is. Thanks for watching! 👍🍻

That's a beautiful Interceptor you've got there. I love the brown leather seat and bag and the Chrome Red color combo. The exhaust sounds great, too.
Great memories of the BBC rallies 1999-2007! I've aged out and no longer sleep in pup tents,lol! TC Christianson used to lead a run Saturday morning to Pike Peaks in Iowa. In 2004, the group included 8 Commandos, a Ducati, and an old Beemers /2. Your bike had to be well sorted to keep up with TC! You kids have fun!
Nice review. I have the same bags and I use NikWax to increase the water resistance on them. I anticipate they will work out quite well. Hark!! A Wisconsinite who rides a Triumph! I am one as well, located in Door County. I just got a 2018 T120 with 2004 miles last November. Spent a part of the winter cleaning it up, and just finished the last part of the mods and upgrades TODAY! Looking forward to some nice local rides, that is, as soon as the weather tempers with drier and warmer days. If you’re ever up or near Door County, would like getting together for a chat and take a ride with a likeminded fellow Triumph rider.

@@Guvnarides-WI2020 in iowa, United States. I ride country 2 lane highways and wait until I you a hill and have a clear view several miles ahead to he sure its copper-free, then I go 8nto "Stan mode"

Is that a touring seat?
Hello, it wasn't listed as a touring seat specifically however, it is very comfortable for medium distance rides (100-200 mile day trips) but I haven't toured with it. Thanks for watching! 👍
These plugs ar designed to get you home or to a garage to have a proper repair or a new tyre put on.. The problem with these plugs is that they will plug the hole but i your tyre gets wet the plug will move because there is no glue added and let air out.. once air has been let out the tyre will deflate and that results in the plug being sucked into the hole.. Then you re-inflate the tyre but the plug has sank into the tyre causing an air leak.. so once you put this plug in make sure you get your tyre replaced or repaired properly

I know this is an old video but the FI light you refer to is not a "fuel injection" light. It's a FAULT indicator light. Likely hooked it up incorrectly.
You are correct it is a fault indicator light. The unit was faulty and replaced at no cost to by Cobra. Thanks for watching.
@Guvnarides-WI2020 I watched the follow up after commenting. I apologize for assuming you messed something up. Glad to hear that Cobra took care of you. Nice bike BTW. I have an 02 1800c model with the same tuner and exhaust. Harley got totalled last year so I'm back on the Honda and honestly I think I prefer it. Only downside is getting 30mpg with a 4 gal tank.

How old is your bike? How do you keep chrome tank and engine casing sp clean and shiny? Hey I have same Interceptor and thinking about t120, what is the big difference other than speed as they both are parallel twin.
Hello! It's a 2022. I use a chrome/aluminium polish by Maguires that keeps both looking good. I have also have a 2022 T120 and to be fair it is very hard to compare. The T120 is twice the motor size and double the torque as well, more tech like riding modes and cruise control and other things but of course twice the price so I'd say it depends on your budget. The Interceptor is simplistic but excellent value for money and great warranty too. Thanks for watching!
@@Guvnarides-WI2020 I need to check for some Maguair polish, your engine casings look lovely. I have no intentions to change Interceptor it's a lovely machine, just looking for another high torque parallel twin with kinda upright riding position.
Great vid - just got a brand new t-120 in cork ireland - love it. Couldn't agree more on headlights, got lost on way home the other night for first night ride- headlight on high beam pointing at the road about 10 ft ahead!

Tec sells a performance baffle that has a larger diameter tube. It's my favorite setup for the Stinger.
I suppose with small dark flys screen, you’re not getting glare from the sun when it hits the chrome ring on top. My last T120 had a small screen, but it kinda of made buffeting worst for me. I guess a lot of that depends also on the helmet. I now have a Matt Black. Cheers NZ.
To be honest i really don't notice much buffeting at all. I originally put the screen on to divert air away from my GPS and tank bag on trips and I ended up just leaving it there! Thanks for the comment and for watching. Cheers! Mick.

This UK based Aussie has been looking at the T120 black edition as my next bike, but have now changed my mind. It seems that a US based Pom has turned my head. I now want a Black, Gold line edition! What year is it? The only thing I might make as an additional modification is the front and rear indicators to smaller, clear LED’s.
US based Pom at your service! Mine's a 2022 and I agree about the clear LED's. It's been on my mind for a while. I hope you can find the Black Gold Line as they are a lovely bike, as are all Triumphs imo. Thanks for watching! 👍🍻

Do you have any issues with poor gas mileage? it may be the Fi2000 settings. I noticed you left them at the factory settings but these are not ideal, from my research the best settings are 2-0-0

Hi Sir, I wore a futuro brace for a long time and on and off still do for my back. Arthritis is in my hands and knees and my back is poked. I dropped my weight from 95kg to 75kg a few years ago and that has helped a bit. I own a 2022 Bonny T120 Matt Black and an 2022 Yamaha XMax scooter. The scooter is easy on my arthritis and back problems. If you have an e-mail address I can send ya pics of my bikes. A belated happy new year from NZ.

I think this system comes in 2 versions. One for street the other for race. Not sure which one to get.
That’s the S&S cycles exhaust, also available from Tec Bike Parts. The Stinger only comes in one version.
