thrifting, vlogs, fashion 🧚🏻♀️
Hi! I am from Kansas City, MO and I moved to NYC after graduating with a fashion degree. I now work full time as a design assistant. I started this youtube channel when the pandemic flipped my life around in 2020, and kept up with it once I got my job back.
I always wanted to share my life on social media and finally found a way to express my love for thrifting, shopping, vlogging and so much more. The fashion industry can be very destructive, so by trying to live a more sustainable life I am here to encourage others to do the same and inspire them to find newness within their own closets. I hope you enjoy and make sure to subscribe if you haven't yet!

Love everything you bought! Good job!
It is not perfect but you definetely improved the dress. Maybe you could undo it and try the last step again. You almost got it!
Thank you!!! I’m going to fix in the morning stay tuned 💃🏻
Love the dress 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌🌷🌷🌷🌼🌼🌼🌸🌸🌸
Ty!!!
Give up on the bubble. Just hemn into a mini dress. Cute so far.
Can’t give up!!
Dress over pants looks cute
I’d have stitched the bubble to the lining before stitching the lining to the waist. Dividing the skirt and lining into quarters/eighths and pinning up those sections might help to reduce twisting.
Oooo interesting maybe I will do that with sectioning it off! Tyyyy 🥰
Love the dress 👗!!! Practice makes perfect!!! Love thr commitment!!!❤
Facts!! Need to practice more I might try a skirt next
also, if youre nervous about it being too short, put some dance shorts on underneath for extra security and go ahead and rock your bubble dress around the hamptons :)
True true true!! I still cant decide if I should redo or let it be I’m going to choose tomorrow ahahaha!
so cute!! i'm always in awe of people who know how to use a sewing machine! i only have ever hand sewn my pointe shoes and I hated it 😂 but I think it's definitely wearable and maybe you can try again with another thrifted dress to keep practicing and perfecting the technique!
Haha I love that I miss pointe it was so fun. Yes need to!! I’m going to retry it!
I thought you dida great job😊

Cute. You could use a different material for the mini skirt part to make it a little longer? I was picturing it as you were putting it together. It is cute, but a little short
I think I might! I have extra fabric in a diff dress I could just redo it
It’s cute 🥰 but it’s a little short 😊
I think I’m going to extend it
@@malloryelida I definitely think that you should because it might be uncomfortable when you sit down or bend over
@julianemorey1372 seams have been ripped going to fix in the morning stay tuned!!
I can relate with your sister. Clothes cost money and once it’s gone, it’s gone. It never fails that an occasion will come up that you need a garment for if you get rid of it. I have a lot of my clothes from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. That’s what my attic is for. I’m going up there soon and have a great time! Full of treasures!
Love this. I never got to go to fashion school ( I wanted to but parents wanted me to major in something else). However I have followed fashion since I was little and learned to sew my own clothes in 4H in 4th grade....that was in 1964 and I have been sewing my own clothes ever since. I have made tons of stuff but never a bubble skirt.....last time around they were popular in the late 80' thru early 90's. I have always been intrigued as to how they were made. I think you did great. One thing that would have helped would have been to hang the dress on a hanger and marked both the skirt and linning in the center front, back, sides and maybe halfway between those marks. Then do the long stitch and gather. Then pin lining up your marks you made. When I was your age I loved to wear very short skirts, at 5'10" I have really long legs. The short skirt looks amazing on you and with your youth is just fine. Now at my age just above the knee is as short as I go......just saying go for it while you are young.
This makes so much sense!!! Thank you for the advice :) I’m going to try it. I love that you learned on your own that’s so impressive
You’re so talented and always fun to watch!
Awe thank you 🫶🏻
Your style is AMAZING! ❤❤❤
Thank you 🫶🏻
Everything looks amazing on you! One thought maybe the low v-neck you could do a crochet chain in white yarn and attach about 8-10 inches up near your shoulders to keep it from falling off your shoulders?
Wait such a good idea!! Maybe even a lace ribbon or something would be cute ty for the tip
I love the color of the green skirt 💚
SAME
That maxi skirt would like nice as a tube dress.
I tried it on like that but it’s sheer so I would have to wear a skirt or something so it looks a little off
Nice outfits
Ty!!
that salvation army scares me the one in hells kitchen on 46th is really good tho
Haha I like it they always have a lot! Haven’t been to the one on 46 in a long time might have to check it out
Love the outfits 👌👌👌👌👌👌🌷🌷🌷🌼🌼🌼🌸🌸🌸
Thank you!
Hey Mal 😊 which SA does that sale on Fridays? All of them ?
The one on 21st and 8th is where we got a lot! I don’t think it’s every Friday but some random Fridays they do 50% off. I could be wrong though. It was going on at both locations so I assume it’s store wide!
Wow, fire!
You make any minidress look amazing!
Wow, more of these looks please!

Hi love your videos. What is the name of the pottery studio. I would love to go next time im in nyc. Thanks ☺️
Happy Medium!
what kind of sauce do you put on your cauliflower tacos? always on the lookout for quick easy meals because i hate cooking lol and that looks super easy!
The brand is wing time and it’s just a Buffalo wing sauce from the grocery store! It’s sooooo easy I just roast the cauliflower 25 min at 375 and then take it out add the sauce however much you want (I do light bc spicy) and then put it back in 10 min and you’re done! I add the premade lettuce, ranch, avocado, and salt/pepper :) I might start making it into a salad for work too! Or a wrap would be really good
Just found your channel, I love how you film!! I also adore your gallery wall above your desk, I’ve been meaning to hang photos up in my little office space but just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I feel you on the editing, sometimes it takes an hour for me to edit a video, and sometimes I’m up all night lol.
Thank you!! I still haven’t completed it but it’s super close to being done I love it :)
I love your Sandro bag!! My friend got me a the same print tote bag from Harrods London for my birthday ! It’s just such a beautiful pattern! Have a happy week

Aweeee thanks for watching squirrel loved doing pottery w u
Ya, I had heard of the rolled up magazine in the boot, trick. Just make sure it's a magazine U don't want anymore, or you'll go crazy looking for it, til Winter. In Visual Merchandising class, for Fashion Design degree, they taught us to hang clothes light to dark, short to long, solids to prints to neutrals. Small to large. If U want your closet to look like a boutique. As expensive as things are, these days, I wouldn't get rid of anything that fits you, except skinny jeans are out of style, now. I'd get rid of ripped things. Since July is national rape month, & rapists carry scissors, I'd get rid of any strappy tops, that are easily clipped.
If the clothes still fit you, keep them. Everything is too expensive to replace, these days, should you get a stain on them, or a rip.
I tie my scarves onto coordinating handbags, to keep them from wrinkling, since I don't have hanging space for the scarves. Or hang them around the collar of the jacket you will wear them with.
I love the white dress! Such a moment this year the white dress is having. The way you styled it is perfect to throw off any college grad vibes. ❤❤❤
Looks so fun! Y'all look gorgeous 😍😍
So fun!!
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I love your videos as always !!!! I hope you have the best summer can’t wait to see your vlogs! I also love getting inspo from people I see on the street ! What about you ? 💖💖
What’s the brand of the pink sequin bag??
There is no tag inside so no idea!
Cute stuff. I agree, the white shirt dress not my fave.
Seeing a video from you and immediately getting happy before it’s even started ❤
Awe, thank you 🥰
