  The fact with the propeller in the bmw logo is simply wrong. It is the colors of the bavarian flag. There was a advertisement in the late 20s where they did the propeller thing. But it was first intended as the bvarian flag and doesnt come from propellers

  Fun fact, v8 hemis were used i. The SR-71 start carts. The crews took a lot of pride in them and kept them pristine and often customized them.

  This was what bike racing was about. So many great riders in this race. I was 23 at this time and loved this shit, being an avid bike rider myself (Australian here, go mick doohan, not mike ffs. And wayne Gardner, such great riders). Those 500cc bikes were amazing. This was the Golden time of racing.

  A beautiful piece of engineering. It must have been fun starting it up at a red light, if the engine stopped there :). I however, don't know if there were traffic lights around at the time this bike was produced. I still would like to have one today :D

  If I ever soloed in a brute like this, I would kill myself in less than 20 seconds. But what really impresses me is that there was no such thing as a twin seat GB. Take her, and try to return in one piece. Good luck. I guess that devil stalled and spun just like a whip. 😬
