Nice looks nicer but plays worse. Perfect for Xbox kids
For Ai aggression and damage scaling, I am pretty sure game uses dynamic difficulty, based of your performance. Difficulty setting sets boundaries of lowest and highest "Game rank", while professional throws it out of the window and keep game rank maxed at all times.
I like most of this, I just don't agree that Halo driving is "incredibly satisfying". Each vehicle drives like they all have "vasaline road" mode on, and only being able to move in the direction you look is objectively worse driving controls than just being able to move no matter what direction you look. Also you unfairly compared the ragdoll physics. This video makes it seem like Crysis doesn't have ragdoll physics at all, when in reality it has way more realistic ragdolls, much more stiff, along with the feet not poking into the ground when face-down.
I was playing Hellblade II on PC today and turned on photo mode and zoomed in super close to Senua's face, and there were tiny hairs on her cheeks. It was not an extra layer of detail for a cutscene, either - it was the regular character model. It's just absolutely bonkers how realistic this game looks. I'm going to be one of those weirdos who finishes the game with a 20 hour playtime because I'm just walking around staring at rocks.
No need to view hạck
If Senua II was supposed to be a showcase of the XSX power, it definitely looks more like ps3/x360 in the water physics department.
I grew up always starting on Standard/normal difficulties in games with the intention of always moving up after. Ever since starting and getting through hardcore on 4, I now always start games on hard modes. I no longer doubt my gaming competence and love the challenge when it comes at me. Loved this game.
Same game but you need a way better and expesnive video card to play. Like the rtx not much of a diference..
Hellblade 2 was ok. The first Hellblade will always be way better than the second one.
I started my first playthrough on Hardcore cause the game told me "For people who played the original" and I felt challenged. Played it again in standard and it was a whole new experience. I realized how much struggle I went through cause of my ego 😅
another between PC and PS4, the wagon part is more difficult on PS4, it feels faster on hard and it is very difficult to aim, while on PC it is slower on hard and gives more time to aim.
Hellblade 2 is pure quality over quantity game. A unique journey like no other from start to finish. I loved this game
I love both ! But i fuck w HB1 combat more, where as HB2 combat is a mix of realistic/animation both fun tho
❤ Amazing GAME
nO THANKS BRO
Really enjoyed the format of this video! And it was every helpful before i start my first professional run!
Awesome video. Love the slight nuances each games has in each comparison. I wonder how Crysis would compare to Red Faction Armageddon in terms of destructible buildings and environment.
and then we have The Evil Within om higher difficults where they out one of the scariest enemies that appears at chapter 10 on chapter 3... Great video, knew some of these changes, but didnt know many others
You mean that one Ruvik doppelganger? Yeah, quite a surprise to see him make an early appearance in Akumu difficulty.
The first game >>>>>>>>
The first one she fights and dodges more faster; while the second its more realistic
I prefer the first game's dodge mechanics myself. I felt like dodging was a viable strategy in the first game, but in the second one she barely moves and some enemy attacks have ridiculous range. I think someone pumped full of adrenaline fighting for their life could move a bit more than she does and it would still be realistic. That and the removal of the melee attack are the two blemishes on an otherwise awesome approach to combat.
Video is in 1080p. Defeats the comparison in some ways.
Game is begging for a VR port where the sword would be mapped 1 to 1 with the VR controllers!
Theirs an unreal VR mod where it turns any Unreal game turns it to a fully VR game. Bee. Thinking of using it to play dead island.
HB 2 wins in graphic quality, animation and cutscenes, anything else HB 1 is waaaaay better. HB 2 is just a shadow of what HB 1 is
Combat is way better in 2
That's just stupid.
What's that xbox exclusive, roman war setting, ryse. Can that come to ps5 by any chance?
"First looks better" - PlayStation Guys
Pretty good graphics for a movie.
UE4 vs UE5
there is something wrong with your recording bro HB 2 looks much better than shown here
You're right i f'd up the quality via zoom on the footage (especially bad in darker areas where i recorded the most of my footage) That said, won't be repeating that mistake again🤖
Thought I was going crazy when I thought she skipped going sideways. She doesn't in the second game, I kept trying to make her lol
I still can’t believe this game exists lol
did the NG+ weapon can be applied on any difficulty like RE5 or it just restarted like the OG. sorry I didn't have a chance to play the game
There is a point system which allows you to buy extra weapons that can be applied to any NG or NG+. Some weapons are exclusive to NG+ like Infinite RPG
combat in hellblade 2 sounds like chooping meat with a knife lol
1:15 that was my only complaint about the original. A game with astonishing graphics, but without footprints or water physics. Glad to see they fixed it now.
The facial animation during the the combat is groundbreaking
Best game for people who loves quality.
maybe the quality of the graphics, not the gameplay
@@dmitryroger4249 I love that's type of gameplay. There are many other games with various gameplay mechanics. I like diversity.
I'm "that guy" now but I kind of want them to remake the first game 😂
console?
PC versions😁
you shouldve tested walking speed. 🤭
i've played that combat section (of hellblade 2) that was shown about three times and i'm still seeing animations i've never seen before, so awesome and it makes every fight so unique and so real
Ocean water looks nice in both Hellblade games, but still I like more how water looks in Crysis (2007).
Did you use any upscaling technology in the second game? It seems that the graphics are not at their maximum and this can interfere with the comparison. Even so, the second is far superior to the first.
The quality settings were set at high and i used AMD FSR 3 as the upscaler in quality mode with sharpness at 90, however in my infinite wisdom i used an age-old downscaling method called zooming in on the video to remove the letterboxing so the video doesn't really do the games graphical fidelity justice😄
@@AverageExample Imo TSR and XeSS looks nicer than FSR3 upscaling
I just finished the game and I had a blast. The quality of visuals and audio are on a whole new level. My jaw was on the floor the entire playthrough. Thank you Ninja Theory.
Exactly same feelings here. I dnt know why people are stupid that its a short game. yeah it is but look at quality and experience.
Pretty graphics and pretty boring...
Ubisoft open world checkbox games and its consequences on mankind
Like The Order 1886
I been playing tf outta this game good job ninja theory 🤘🏾🤘🏾
you cant rly see quality of this game on youtube.
Agreed
More like a movie not much of a game😐
How did you turn off black bars?
I zoomed in on the recorded video a bit to remove the letterboxing, made the video quality a bit worse though
there are engine.ini tweaks for that, look at Nexus Mods
Masterpiece's ❤
Looks the same.
Me when I'm on pills
You should see an ophthalmologist
If you're watching on a phone yes.
@@Marcusrafaelfet Don't worry. Just a PlayStation guy speaking nonsense again.
Stfo! What a trash game. I don't know why stupid people support this game I don't understand why 🤦
Huge upgrade across the board
Agreed, I see a whole lot of people saying it’s a downgrade but for what hellblade is I think it’s perfect. Plus, it’s arguably the best looking game I’ve ever played
The same game as the first part, only with better graphics. Ninja theory a little more courage. There is no progress in gamepaly.
nope the combat is worse now, they removed mechanics so they could have better few improved animations, what a garbage decision
The combat is trash in the 2nd
I'm just glad the puzzle didn't make us go nuts trying to figure out unlike the first one.
