It's not the voice acting. It's the physical acting that breaks it. The way she's animated when she does that line just... makes no sense. Why does she do that? It feels like a gesture that would have worked in a much less "photorealistic anime" art style but dropping it into here just makes it seem... absurd?

Hummm french version follow clearly the original japanese one , i have understood directly judging the sound and imitation but was surprise to the VA for this moment. I loved the VA thought. (and french one as native speaker)

I got she was imitating Corneo’s laugh, but it did take me a second. I sat there a bit confused, then suddenly it clicked after the cutscene ended, and out loud at my TV I said, “Oh!” and started laughing. Cute! Probably I recognized it because Corneo’s English laugh grossed me out to no end (bravo to the VA), so the sound of it was more prominent in my head than it might have been for people less repulsed by him. Me, ugh, I wanted to kill him so badly just so I wouldn’t have to hear it again, lol.

She knows she will die, she will sacrifice herself in desperation to save the planet and Cloud needs to save the planet and she knows that. This lovestory is incredible, it will tear you apart while you are going through it but it is still worth the journey and effort.

Insightful explanation as it was really out of place. With Briana's explanation: Aerith playfully celebrating their victory by mocking Corneo. I want to add....the visual facial expression and body gesture they had Aerith do the sound/reaction did not help make things clearer.

I think i stopped watching the ff7 rebirth it seemed the production held favor to tifa as I've already watched the trailer and it was kind of hurt for me cause it frustrate me for some fan that are blinded to see the true essence of beauty inside seemed the body figure is much more better than your character😊for me i came to this term that i don't want to ship my favorite character to anyone mostly for Cloud cause Aerith deserve much more better rather than him being a complicated character to the fan of Cloud i apologize if i say this also for me she is better as she is, as she was a cetra

He was an eccentric child who always viewed himself as different from the rest. The only person he held close to his heart was Tifa. Their love is brought into the light when Tifa explores Cloud's subconscious

Many of us lost Aerith in our youth, teens for me, and it had an affect on us. I lost my wife before this game launched to cancer a mere 9 months after our only child was born. I felt that loss all over again in this scene. I couldn’t help but to feel the absolute heart ache. I hope in the up coming game we get the chance to put right which once went wrong for Aerith.

It's been a minute since I've played FF7 Remake. The way Cloud and Aerith talk to each in this moment is an accurate representation of how people communicate to other when you know they've made a difference in each others lives. The connection between Cloud and Aerith is deep, heartwarming, and real. Cloud loves Aerith, Tifa, and Jessie for all different reasons. Tifa he's known the longest. Aerith came out of nowhere and opened his eyes up to the world. Cloud is so gaurded and Aerith knows how to disarm him. He feels safe with her emotionally. Everytime a girl hugs or touches Cloud he's not use to receiving that kind of love or affection. It's beautiful how he opens up in moments like this.
