This is the exact same way I remember the shapes on the piano: polychords. The same with every chord that sounds good with a triad on top. Very useful stuff!

Gorgeous sounds as always! Just a request: could you please add some of the higher drawbars. Your sound is very soft in this video and hard to hear unless you have headphones or earbuds. Enjoying your content.

Great advice! I didn’t notice while listening but the other light colored drawbars should level out the highs in the sound. I’ll add them for my final chord video. Thanks 🙏🏾

Wonderful!!! I love this sound and will adopt this for myself when I can SEE THE BLACK NOTES! You're making me work harder 😊

Can u name the notes individually? Or can u say what you're playing on eacj hand? I just cant see the depression of the black keys. Or give an example in the key of C

If you watch the video, you can hear me call out each note individually when I initially play the chord. I hope that helps 💪🏾 💪🏾 🎹

This sounds very nice and rich! Need to figure out the voicing. I'm a pianist and as you mentioned, the voicings and approaches are very different. In a jazz piano approach it would be for example (in the key of F) Am7,b5 - D7#5#9 - Gm11- C7,b9,#5, F(6,9). A ton of variations possible.

Yep, there is some distortion in your signal, nothing too bad though. Your voicing sounds beautiful. G and F are add 9. Very warm and sweet sounding. The chord voicings with both hands are very rich! Thanks for this!

Great tutorial as always. New subscriber here. I presume the drawbar setting we hear is what we see in the upper left hand side. I was wondering, since the inverted preset keys seem to be on cancel. It takes some time to anslyze and memorize the chord voicings, but it's worth it. Wishing you lots of success for your YT channel and be blessed.

Dont know much about the organ. I have a question: why does your organ sound like that and how did you get that sound?
@gospel-keys-academy8 ай бұрын
Hey @KennyAce! I’m using the simulated Hammond Organ produced by Ik Multimedia. I’m also using a specific preset for this video.

the preset can be seen by the position of the top numbered sliders and the buttons (plus the leslie on slow)
