Donde venden esa carpeta de estampado?
Hi friend, thanks for your question. You can get this embossing folder from several places like Amazon, Simon Says Stamp, Sizzix, A Cherry on Top, just to name a few. Just Google, Tim Holtz Engraved embossing folder and it will show all the places to get it. Thanks for watching. Have a great day! ❤️
I have trouble with my paper sticking to the stamp, when I open the door. Is that problem solved with this product? I know that you can use magnets but I have found that sometimes the magnet was "taller" than the stamp thus preventing a good image from the stamp. Is it only me or do other ladies have these problems?
Hi Catherine, thanks for your question. I am not sure any stamp positioner would stop your paper from sticking to the stamp. I personally have found that new stamps are the biggest culprit as well as sticky inks like Staz On. A couple tricks you can try to make your stamps less sticky when stamping is first, Take a scrap piece of paper and just stamp it a bunch of times with any ink, this will help condition the stamp and should stop the paper from sticking to the stamp when you open the door. Second tip is to just take your fingers or the palm of your hand and aggressively rub all over the stamp, this will also help condition the stamp and take the sticky away. I do understand that magnets can get in the way and a good fix for that is to use Sizzix Sticky Grid. Because it is double sided adhesive It will hold down your paper without needing magnets. Whats nice about the Sticky Grid is you can cut it down to get more use out of it and the stickiness is just enough and will not rip your paper when you lift it out of your positioner. I hope this is helpful to you. Let me know if you have any other questions. Appreciate you, my friend ❤️
@@eastwickspaperandink yes, thank you
Beautiful
Thank you so much ❤️
Could you use stencil butter instead of the Delicate inks?
Hi Debbie, thanks for your question. Honestly, I have never tried it so I don’t really know. If I were to try it, I would use a make-up sponge to apply it so it would lightly coat the raised areas. If you use your finger, like I did in the video, it may glob up and not be easy to apply to the raised areas. You want to make sure you have a thin amount kind of like you’re dusting on the raised parts. Let me know if you try it and how it turns out. Appreciate you, my friend. ❤️
Absolutely great video. I watch over 8 hours of glimmer hot foil review videos on KZread and this is the best. Very insightful and honest.
Thank you so much, Amare. This was my second YT video ever…I was always nervous about it because I wasn’t super skilled. I really appreciate you leaving me this comment. It made my day. ❤️

Thanks for making Hanukkah cards! They are few and far between.
Thank you my friend. I agree…I need to think of some more ideas for this coming year. ❤️
Thank you for putting this tutorial together! I am a CF mixed media paper crafter as well. I don't know how I could have started this new hobby a few months ago without it! Mind you, I do love many of the card making sites and such in the genre, but since I am still new to this, CF has been the most affordable way for me to start. Since I already had a Cricut Maker before starting on this journey, whenever I see a die, stamp or folder I am just ga-ga😍over, I go to CF to see if there is something similar floating about that I can use mylar and my Maker to make a stencil or stack foam die cuts to make a stamp in order to design something similar, but unique to my style. If not, then I can justify the expense. My focus right now is more learning techniques, tricks/tips and building my inks and necessary tools stash. I did breakdown and purchase a die cutting machine recently as it does have a use for the few dies, 3D embossing folders, etc. I have splurged on. I even found a seller on Ety that had dozens of digital templates for all types of stitched nesting dies that I also use with my Cricut. Now, in addition to the simple label dies on CF, I can use them as well. It may not be as immediate as running a die through my Platinum, but they are on my computer, I can resize them to suit my projects and it saves me some money to put towards a unique die, 3D embossing folder, stencil, ink, etc. Thanks again and happy making🥰🥰
Thank you my friend. I think it is wonderful how you have started out with using CF and your Cricut Maker…so many crafters don’t realize dies and stencils are designed using SVG’s. And using the Maker opens up all kinds of possibilities. I was the opposite of you, I started with stamps and dies etc…and only recently got a maker, but it has been a game changer for me in my crafting. I have lots of techniques on my channel that will hopefully help you learn in your crafting and I am hoping to add more CF content on the channel this year as well. Thanks for watching and leaving me this comment. It makes doing these videos worth it. Appreciate you ❤️❤️❤️

Bonjour, merci pour ce tuto, vos cartes sont vraiment magnifiques.Dommage pour ne pas comprendre votre langue😢
Thank you, my friend. I turned on CC (closed captioning). When you play the video hit pause and then look to the right top corner for the screw icon, right next to CC. Once you hit the screw icon select Captions and then select auto translate and select your language. Hopefully then you will be able to watch and understand what I saying 😊 Appreciate you, my friend. Katy ❤️❤️❤️

WOW! I loved these card backgrounds! Thank you.
Thank you, my friend ❤️❤️❤️
I got my stamp press from Scrapbooking Made Simple and love it! I have one question though. I'm stamping 6 bugs in black ink at the same time on small pieces of craft chipboard. I have them taped down with painters tape and then I applied Multi Matte Medium to them to prevent the Versamark stamping ink from absorbing into the chipboard surface I have them stamped on. Do you know if this platform can withstand heat embossing on it so that if I have to apply more Versamark for missed areas I can do that and emboss again without removing the images from the platform? I am planning on putting clear embossing powder over the black lines just to create a border so that I can then go in and color the areas left in craft color without any bleed.
Hey my friend, so glad you love the stamp press…it is one of my favorites. Honestly I do not think it could with stand a heat gun, but what you could do is hold your heat gun off to the side and let it get really hot…like let it run for a good minute before bringing it to your project and then shoot it with the heat and take it away…kind of like how you would heat emboss vellum so it doesn’t warp . Repeat until your embossing is melted. This should keep your stamp press safe. Just do not hold the heat gun on the stamp press or it will damage it. Appreciate you. Katy ❤️
So lovely!
Thank you, my friend ❤️❤️❤️

Great cards! 😊 Do you know if Maker Forte is still in business? I ordered stamps weeks ago and haven’t heard from them.
Thank you, my friend ❤️❤️❤️ I think the website is still active, however my understanding is Alex has not been doing well and I have no idea how long or if shipping is taking place as nothing has been posted in the Maker Forte facebook group. Hopefully you will get your goodies soon, I know how disappointing having no information can be. Appreciate you, my friend. ❤️❤️❤️
