このライブ映像は今まで4:3画面の画質がもう少し粗いやつしか見たことなかったけど、こちらの方をプレイリストに登録しておくことにする。 彼等は今もツアーを行っているけど、正直ハードロックをやるには歳をとり過ぎた感が否めない。しかしこの頃は丁度油がのっていて若い頃にはなかった味も出てきて、彼等の音楽を楽しむには最適な時期だな。
日本公演はどうしても国民性からか、盛り上がりに欠けるな。同時期に行われたロンドンのシェファーズブッシュ公演なんか観客の盛り上がりが凄すぎて、それが演者のパフォーマンスも向上させる正に相乗効果で最高だよ。
Love the opening tune. Guernica can really belt it out. One of the best voices out there today. Emily and Mona are awesome musicians. It is apparent who the foundation of Thundermother was. Missed them when they opened for Scorpions in Chicago. Come to Chitown ladies. I will definitely be there. Rock on.
such a great Documentary ...the shared respect for each other amongst these three guitar legends is lovely to watch ...yes I know there are probably a 100 more combinations of 'other' great Guitar heroes that could have got together for a documentary....instead of the 3 here *(Hank Marvin, Eric Clapton, John Squire anyone?) ...( or what about Keith Richards, Carlos Santana and Pete Townsend) ...(Dave Gilmour, Eddie Van Halen, Mark Knopfler) I could go on and on...and on.....but I love the fact the 3 x of these almost come from 3 x different eras in Music more or less....and all bring something 'different' to the table ..and all love sharing their stories and insights ..lots of great moments in this...but particularly ..the part towards the end when they are jamming "The Weight" by the band and the Edge realizes they should all be playing a B Minor ..and NOT an E Minor ..and even Jimmy Page goes ..'oh shit?' ...see you can always still teach an old dog new Tricks...such a great film...this could have gone on longer 🙂
