I almost completely agree with you. I just think Sarah may be the more powerful voice and she's just low in the mix. They really focused on the orchestrations!

I TOTALLY agree with you about Nightwish not utilizing the BEST vocalist like Tuomas should. I mean, if there were MORE songs like "Yours is an Empty Hope" and "Tribal" and "Pan" the newer CD's would be SO much better! And I also agree that I PREFER to listen to the LIVE stuff because the guitars are more crunchy and Floor can let LOOSE vocally. I'm not excited about the new album in all honesty. ANOTHER evolution album, like seriously??? For ME now, Kittie's album is going to be THE album of 2024 in Metal!!!

I think you are referriing to the "When We Were Young" Festival??? Interestingly enough, reps from Sumerian Records were there and offered Kittie to sign w/ them which you can imagine at first they were thinking it was SUS lol. But they worked it all out and as I write this they just released recently their 4th single already and their new CD FIRE will be dropped in 9 days on the 21st!!!! Can't WAIT!!!!!

Tuomas has his hands in everything Nightwish so you know the video is going to a" little over the top" Alot of people are complaining about the " mix" of Floors vocals in the chorus......Kai Haito has come out and said her voice was purposely put in the background. The song will grow on you more and more with each listen . I'm with you about using more classical vocals from Floor . It'll be much better live

The people you were afraid of have probably "blocked" you, it seems... I still remember that video and I still disagree with most of what you said. I didn't comment immediately back then because I didn't want to post a hot headed comment... and then you took down the video! And like you, I'm not gonna comment on that now! I like EFMB, enough to be my 5th or 6th NW album. It has a good start, a bit of a lul in the middle, but maybe is the calm before the storm that is The Greatest Show On Earth (my favourite song). About the guitars, I also didn't feel them much, and, like most people, was also put off by Floor being somewhat low in the chorus. I suppose it's on purpose. I mostly wanted to hear what Floor was singing, but in the end Troy comes in to save the day! Sometimes songs throw me off for some reason (Blackbriar does this to me sometimes) but after more listens they grow on me when the melody starts getting in my head, and this is one of these cases. About the BTS, this album will complete the trilogy that started with EFMB. And "wynde" is pronounced like in find or mind (it's a word made up by Troy). About 2020, Human Nature was my favorite album that year, although I didn't listen to many albums that year, but it reminded me of my other big favorite that year, Hope Springs Eternal. Snow White Blood are back (with a makeover)! Not sure if you know or not since you haven't reacted any of their two new songs (or haven't posted). The first is The Loss of Innoncence, which for some reason on youtube I can only find in the Topic channel, but the second one, Nevermore, which I prefer, has a video on their channel. 🥔

The singles really were appetizers, they are more dreamy songs. The opening track Unbound is one of my favorites, it never leaves my head. Ocean of Treason is the heavy song on the album, pure power. Another one of my favorites is Into The Vortex, this one has an interesting dark vibe. ❤
