  According to the MG4 forums about MG4 12V Battery going FLAT for a lot of owners. Using the safety switch off button to stop the Engine every time is a bad idea if you drive the MG4 occasionally. This is because if you use the SAFETY SWITCHOFF Button to switch off the MG4, the HIGH VOLTAGE battery inverter stop charging the 12V battery when you are parked. This can cause 12V battery to go FLAT and the 12v battery warning light to come on and stop owners from Charging their MG4. It happens to me 😩😩😩 Its only the door handle button switch off for me from now on 🤪

  You only need to do this if you want to remain in the vehicle. As soon as you select Park and leave the vehicle it will power down automatically.
