    HI I can't complete the order for the event written above. I choose the date, the place, enter the card details, then it tells me that something went wrong. I must have tried dozens of times

    I can just imagine Count Athur Strong stumbling into Royston Vasey and perhaps encountering Edward and Tubbs. I think he'd fit in really well, "local" or not.

    Ticketmaster's badly built website (or was it?) cost me extra in 2018 which they wouldn't refund. Never used them since, never again. This is Karma.

    Saw him at the Burnley Machines last night. Excellent show in every aspect. My sides ached all evening laughing. A masterpiece of classic comedy never to be surpassed. Thank you for an amazing evening never to be forgotten.

    Saw the wonderful Count Arthur at Caste in Doncaster last night. It was a joy from minute one but the final half an hour was truly one of the most sidesplittingly, crylaughingly, bentdoubly, laughoutlouduncontrollably 30 minutes I’ve ever seen. Catch this genius while you still can as his farewell tour can’t go on forever ….although after last night I’m not sure Arthur knows that. I always love hearing Steve talk with such intelligence and warmth about the gem of a comedy character he has shared with us for so many years. Lovely stuff

    I think. This is just about the coolest shit. I have ever seen in my 5 decades on this planet. And I think about the practhe people who are part of operating this tiger must experience day after day hour after hour practicing being a body part. Or a series of movemention, how to tie your body?What a trip.It's better illusion than anything i've seen on a computer

    But did any of it really happen? He never pressed chsrges against those who supposedly ruined his life. Martha didn't go to prison, nor has anything come out for real about the stalking and all those messages. It's just as believable that these 2 are friends that may have had a fling and even created this script up between themselves. Martha gets an interview with Morgan, Gadd gets a Netflix series and West End show after being desperate yo become famous. Could it all just be a very elaborate script?

    Very underrated - Count Arthur Strong is a comedy great right up there with Delboy, Blackadder and Alan Partridge. The daft BBC cancelled his TV series but luckily I've got the DVDs.

    This guy came a very long way. He's navigated through the ups and downs of his life, career, and relationships. He's been used and stalked. Then he gets the opportunity that made him more popular.

    Just seen the Count in Buxton on his alleged final tour, utterly sublime comedy. Steve Delaney is right up there with John Cleese, Ronnie Barker, Barry Cryer et al in the writing stakes.....catch him if you can, its a joyous 2 hours guaranteed.

    I had a ticket to go and see the show in Dundee and I missed it because I ended up in hospital. I was so disappointed, as I had been looking forward to the nonsense that is Count Arthur. Please come back again!

    I'll go against the grain here and say that he's not only a very poor comedian, he's also obviously cashing in on the scenario. But surely the biggest question is why won't he name the guy who groomed him? Would we be as accepting of a victim of, say, Jimmy Saville, who refused to name him and allowed him to carry on? I call bullshit on the whole thing.

    Have you considered the power dynamics at play? The way Gadd could be blacklisted from working in film/TV if he were to accuse this person? Maybe he doesn't have direct evidence, it's one man's word against anothers. Rape often happens when only 2 people are in the room: victim and perpetrator. How is he supposed to back his allegations up? All he can do is tell his story.

  • @user-John666
    @user-John666Ай бұрын

    @@harley4303 The way the perpetrator was portrayed will mean that certain people in the industry either know who it is or have a good idea. If he's as close to the real 'martha' as she was portrayed then they'll be even more certain. Gadd owes it to potential other victims to say more.
