We need to ask Mary Guibert (Jeff's Mother) how in the hell this song was never made public (along with You and I (Guitar Version), Peace Offering, and Let's Bomb The Moonlight - all on youtube )

i’ve seen recently some people under a clip of him talking about something saying that he sounds corny in interviews or like he is “trying” to be deep, but for me is clear he is not trying to be deep and it is not forced at all (given the fact that i myself have my head full of thoughts every day without “trying”). he said once that people that speak poetically and express are totally devalued, and that we live in a world that wants to kill artists. all those people are really just proving his point. i am no longer ashamed to express and i personally enjoy listening to him talk about life, some people just don’t get it easily

Such an unique, unbelievable art of singing...Jeff - gone too soon - was this Gods mystic plan?!? I can't believe... 😪...listen to Klaus Nomi who sang this lament shortly before he died...totally different from Jeffs version, but Klaus was aware he had to die and his interpretation is also heartbreaking...!

Jeff really liked the talents of great artists before him like Van Morrison who wrote this original jazz song.

Most profound “concert” of my life. I’d never heard a note of his music. The words he spoke, how he spoke, lifted from the page of a print article & struck me so deeply I was called to go to the concert that same night. I didn’t know tickets were impossible to come by. I just walked up to the door & some guy came up & said “does anyone want a comp?” Jeff was simply gone beyond & called from our heart of hearts. He was the last of something wonderful in our world. We all loved him.
