  I remember seeing this movie when I was in my early 20’s with my then girlfriend and I was a rookie cop. The moment at 8:07 when they showed his death date tore me to pieces. It illustrates what a true hero is. I could relate so closely……

  As a kid I never understood the, life for a life, and your life, trade. Creasy had Sanchez's brother, wife, and kids. That's like a 2 for 6 trade, and Creasy could have killed them all. I always felt like it wasn't fair. Creasy obviously didn't care, he didn't hesitate, as long as Pita was safe.

  Only thing I hate about this scene is Mom knows she wont see Creasy again, and she doesn't say thank you for everything he's done or even give him a last hug or anything smh. Great movie though without question.

  I spent 4 years in the regular army, and 8 years in the Royal Marines. I'm not trying to be some kind of a hero here, but I like to say not many things rile me and hit my emotions. However, Pita running across that bridge at the end of this film screaming Creasys name brings me to tears every single time. This is why we fight wars(even if they are turf ones), to protect the children of tomorrow.......

  Just love how Pita’s mom sees the blood dripping of his hand and knows he’s dying. The way she looks at him when he’s getting like she can’t believe he’s doing all this for Pita😭😭
