Gotta say, Jeff, I’ve been following you for a long time now, and not only has it been really cool to always be learning something from you, but it’s been really cool to see you grow as a drummer yourself. Another great vid. Thanks.

Thank you for your tip. This actually works..I started learning drums since 6 months but I'm so faster than others especially in improvisation and catching the groves vibes, it's bcz i have this music sound in my mind before I play it.. In the Indian percussion system we have something called konnakkol, percussion language, which has syllable for every rhythm, note and sounds that can be made with the percussion instrument, like mridangam, ghatam tabla etc. We are taught that first along with timing. only after that we are taught to play it on the actual instrument. That's why we can see carnatic musicians improvise things impromptu on the spot also it's a common phenomenon where different types of percussion instruments are having conversion during the concerts.. Eg: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h2h2xdqbia7ce8o.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/hZqnu7GLd9uun6w.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKmOqJp7kbLaZZs.html

Hey Jeff! Are you using the thumb and pointer finger as the fulcrum of the grip during wrist strokes and finger strokes, or thumb and second finger? Should the grip fulcrum change at all between strokes?
