I kinda wished they had developed their relationship more. It felt too much out of nowhere: she gets a crush on him -> he doesn't care -> suddenly he really cares, the end. Yes, I know there were some things in between, but too few to feel fulfilling.

@Edit_chan_ I can understand where you're coming from, but this eventually an entertainment media, and as a consumer, I felt not enough was shown to feel this is fleshed out. In reality, great relationships can come from a single crush or a few meetings, but as a story medium, this can feel lackluster in the grand scheme when portraying character development. I am not expecting a rom com naturally, but this felt like the most minimal telling of love that was required. Personally, I felt it left a lot to be desired.

If she continued to communicate with him, then maybe he would love her in the future (unlikely, of course, they are too different). There was nothing stopping her from retired and continuing to communicate with him (if Joo Hee really loved him, she would have done so). And so, she left his life and he met Hae-In. After everything that happened to him, he began to feel alone. And Hae-In was the one who, on the contrary, did not turn away from him. She was always by his side. He always had fun with her.
