  Labor unions traditionally vote D, probably not so much this election per the millions via the southern border that are in fact keeping low wage labor costs down. Larry Summers D this past week (on Bloomberg) said that if Trump wins it will be bad for inflation because number 1 cost in business is labor cost and he was asserting (correctly) that deporting those people, would mean labor costs go higher. Bottom line IF someone is a low wage earner voting D is a vote against their own upward mobility. Kamala was in charge of the southern border.

  Give the road a diet and install a traffic circle. It’ll be way cheaper, way safer, enable kids to walk or bike safely to school reducing morning car drop offs, keep traffic flowing instead of stopping it, and probably faster to install too.

  The problem is poor planning from the beginning, High School shouldn’t have been built at this location. High School is next to one of the most busiest intersections County Farm Road and Roosevelt Road (HWY 38) in DuPage County. High School doesn’t have adequate parking making students use the Target parking lot across a HWY 38 4 lane highway, thus wasting law enforcement to block Roosevelt Road for students to cross street, which the causes major backups at Roosevelt Road and County Farm Road.

  I use to live around there and the smartest thing they could do is add an underpass; basically a long underground cement tunnel under the roadway that connects one side with the other. That would keep costs low and safely allow passage across the roadway.

  An overpass would require very long ramps on both sides of Roosevelt Road (250 feet each side to achieve 15-foot clearance) to accommodate the elderly/disabled people for whom crossing assistance is being advocated.
