The Cauliflower Club charity embrace the values of Rugby Union through our members, sponsors, ambassadors and partners to help raise funds to provide sporting and recreational equipment to enhance the lives of those with a disability - with a bias towards sporting related injuries. We have an annual fundraising lunch, - which is in the traditional club rugby style. We have our CCXV team that features former Wallabies and invited players and we travel to regional clubs and entertain country crowds with our old boys shenanigans with some rugby thrown in. We would love you to join us. Membership is $50 per year

This was cool to watch
Andrew Blades I had the pleasure of playing alongside him in Junior Rugby and watching him go on to great heights. From the great Blades family of Lindfield Junior Rugby. The best piece of thinking Rugby i have ever seen. Gordon Prelim Final at the SFS already down 14 - 0 after 10 minutes against Randwick the Wicks number 9 settled at the back of the ruck 10 meters out from the tarts try line Bladsey coming from probably 100 metres off side to grab the nine and sit out for ten minutes . The kick was missed and the Highlanders went on to win the Game. Andrew always had the best of the game in his head. One after match i spoke to him (well accosted is the word) Gordon Vs The Rats his opposing prop was so on tilt most of the game.. I asked how the hell did you let him stay on the field. Stick your tongue in his ear rabbit punch him get him sent off.... Andrew calmly said " mate that's why you are sitting in the stands and I'm on the field" A Gentleman and an Ambassador for Rugby. Respect..
I met Andrew Blades when I came over from Perth and joined Killara High School. Andrew by that stage was in Year 12, in the Schools A Team and I was in Year 10, had been playing school and club rugby in Perth for years as the world tiniest hooker! I was trying out for the No.2 position in the School B Team and due to my size was put out on the wing. The A's were moping the floor with the B's and Andrew loafing out on the wing and got the ball 5meters from the try line and I was his only obstacle!! Well, I guess you can image how that turned out! I think I remember him saying "Welcome to Sydney". But being the gentlemen he is I am still able to function normally!! :)
