What time did it departs the boat?
@kaymagno23 they have 2 trips in a day, I believe. One in the morning, around 8 a.m., and one in the afternoon around 2 pm. You can check their website. But I suggest you take the morning trip the water is calmer and you have more time to explore the island after the boat tour.

I'm assuming about an hour for snorkeling? So 4 hours of the boat moving along the coast? That's it? Seems long for just that?
Correct. It takes 1.5-2 hrs from the marina to the napali coast and another 1.5 hours back to the marina. It seems like a long trip, but trust me, you'll enjoy it. The boat has to cruise slowly in every cave (that takes time too). The view is amazing, and a 4.5-hour trip goes by so fast 😊

I think this boat is the best choice for you. The reason I chose this boat is because I brought my 6 years old daughter with me. The ride was pretty smooth (I took the morning ride). I'm pretty sure you'll be alright. Have a nice trip!

This was actually close to the parking lot area. Turtles can be found anywhere around the beach. You need some luck, too.
Do not go to a vrbo location listed as romantic getaway, sleeps 2. It is a dump. I'm sure it is on arbnb as well.. mold, permanently fogged windows condensation between panes, grease on the stove. I wouldn't bathe in the tub if you pd me

I used to play there as a kid. I'll never forget going underwater in the deeper section and seeing the lamprey eels right in my face.
What time of day did you do? And was it choppy on the way there and back?
I took the morning trip, and the water was pretty calm, I heard the afternoon trip was more choppy. I recommend going in the morning, the water is clearer for snorkeling. And you have plenty of time after the tour, you can visit Waimea Canyon while you are in the area. Hope that helps.

We'll be visiting next week from the west coast and was hoping to record my kid and his cousin! are they strict with the no camera or just pretend they don't see it? haha. Great video though! Looks fun!
They pretty strict and also depend on the lifeguards who in charge, some of them are nice and don't care. The Toothless Trickling is the hardest one because they have many lifeguards watching you, I had to hide my camera in my pocket first lol. Have fun!

Only the Toothless Trickling Torpedo was the longest line, the other slides wasn't too long and also it depends on the day you going. I went there on Tuesday, I bet weekend will be more busy. Have fun!

@@creepergaming1613 yes with turbo pass ($40) you will have special line and its definitely faster. But I noticed only the Toothless Trickling Torpedo had the longest wait time. For the other slides I don't think you need the turbo pass, I saw only 8-12ppl ahead of me on the other slides and it run really fast. I was there on Tuesday. Not sure how busy it is on weekends. If extra $40 is not an issue for you then yeah go ahead.
