  According to Calvin Jones at Park Tools, the wrap on the RH side should be wrapped in a clockwise direction from riders point of view, and counter clockwise on LH side. The Park tools video gives step by step instruction.

  I don't think Calvin Jones wraps 10 bikes a day. This is how a PRO mechanic wraps the bar tape for a PRO rider, just stick to the proper tried and true method.

  @@poxcr I’ve wrapped mine in both directions and they both work, and look great. The figure of eight isn’t necessary when wrapping like the pros, so probably the preferred method for getting the wrap done quickly.

  Yeah on the drops it should be wound the other way as tendency is to pull-down and outside on the drops, which will gradually loosen the wraps 😳, but then if he’s changing the tape on a regular basis it prob doesn’t matter that much.

  Right side of the handlebar - you (always) do it counterclockwise! (And on the left side - clockwise.)

  0:40 2:11 He has truly exquisite balance and control. I mean, all pro cyclists spend a lot of time on a bike, but this is ability far beyond what you'd expect would come naturally just from riding a bike a lot. Awesome!

  He should have started from the top of the handlebars down to avoid using tape to finish which is a messy compromise. There is at least one KZread video which demonstrates the superiority of this approach instead.

  Drops are wrapped the wrong way but then again I guess they do it every second day so it does not really matter much.

  I've been using same handle bar tap until it worn out didn't had enough money So thx to utube videos I used my old tire tube and it worked just fine
