  Hey Lou, I left the Benz dealer recently worked there for 5 years and have a few Benz’s in our family I’ve been looking for a cracked version or bootleg version of xentry but not sure where to get it, do you know where I could get a tablet and a version of xentry would be much much appreciated thank you!   I got mine way back in the day from mb star tool . Com I believe but now it shows it might not be live. ObdiI.shop looks to be live I would say check reviews and forums 🤷🏼‍♂️ Ill try to find a reputable source

  @@MasterTechLou thanks a lot, I’ve messaged a few companies but didn’t get much of a response I’ll do some more digging but would love to be able to have the guided tests pin locations component locations wis, I doubt tips would be there but still any of those things would be amazing thanks again if you do find anything let me know!

  Maybe. You would need to purchase the honda software. In my experience a no start is usually something basic. So check all the basics first before determining that you need a scanner to further diagnose.

  @@MasterTechLou yea we changed spark plugs, coils, made sure relays and fuses were good, hit the starter, battery and alternator of course.

  Help I have a 2011 450gl. My AC was working great and started losing cool. If the compressor when turned on isn't working...is it faulty or out of freon?

  I tried looking up mountain tools and ATD so if I ever had to warranty one of the tools I could contact them. I couldn't find any information for them online. I tried clicking on your Amazon or Walmart links and ATD tools doesn't sell it directly. The tools are being sold through a reseller. I tried reaching out to them and they advised me to warranty the tools to contact the seller directly. I have heard that these tools can potentially break if you put too much torque on them

  All tools can break with too much torque. This are not meant for torque they are meant for length. Atd does not sell directly you do have to find a seller. Thats the only tricky part.

  @@majorahole it has to go through the seller. Thats the only downside. So try and find one thats been in the business. Their distribution network is on their website.

  My air bags popped from the back car had it replaced now i’m getting malfunctioning code and have to press the button for the cars to rise up after it rises up i get a code compressor cooling i can drive it for 15min it will drop back down. do you think its the valve block

  Well hello Alex I hope all is well , from my experience with others and myself its autel, launch and autologic which is kind of a low key brand that does a lot. Topdon is supposed to be just as good I just have limited experience with it at the moment. Still testing it on cars and seeing its capabilities

  Hey Lou, thanks for these videos. My 2014 E550 front two shocks are low in the mornings. Some days its fine, some days its low(slammed). It does have electrical connections on the front struts. When the car is low it given the "vehicle rising, do not drive" message. Once filled the car is okay to drive around. After the car is raised, when I disconnect the inlet line from compressor that feeds valve block and zap strap it with a balloon, the car periodically lowers the cars and fills the balloon. I did not disconnect any batteries. Is the car self levelling once parked or does this mean faulty valve block as the ballon is periodically getting filled with the car off?

  Fans are common to fail. Jumpin the relay to see if it comes on is a common test. But also depends on style of fan. Too tricky to answer off the cuff

  Well, I don’t know what you consider cheap. But when you get into programming and coding scanners its In the thousands range. And not one scanner will be able to do all makes and models. All modules necessary. Plus if you buy used, or from non authorized seller you might not get full functions or support. So sift youtube vids on scanner danner, farm project, super mario, see what scanners they are using to program. I personally am just getting into the aftermarket stuff. So I cant say what will absolutely work.

  No more annoying red SOS light in the overhead control center, yes! The reason I bought this little scanner is for my 2007 CLS 550 I was able to manipulate the aromatics and lower my car electronically about an inch all four corners

  Hey brother thanks for the video, I used a Foxwell NT 510 elite multi system scanner and was able to code out my SOS aid malfunction visit workshop notification that constantly comes on the instrument panel, you have no idea how happy I am now thanks for the tips and getting me in the right direction

  Lou, I'm having Airmatic problems and when you begin to show how to "jump the relay" around the 58:30 mark, your hands are out of view so I can't see which legs of the relay to touch to see if its good. My rear suspension only is bottomed out, I changed the rear level sensor and that did nothing. I can't get my compressor to turn on AT ALL. I'm frustrated to say the least.

  Hi Lou...Hope you can help me out. I had a 2010 glk350 ( I'm working on it now ). No ZIP noise when I put key into EIS, Also no message to remove key from ignition. With scan tool & go to EIS Drive Authorize, when I insert key into EIS all terminal 15s OFF. Tested key & EIS was good, I though it was the ESL failed but never saw a symptom like this before. Could you give me a direction. Thanks When I go to IMMO to test EIS/working key, the result come up: this is not a working key for this vehicle ( but key & EIS tested okay )

  Try this key in another benz, if key is good dash will say “wrong key inserted” Same with the glk. No zip noise, is steering wheel unlocked? 2wd or 4wd? Some did not have esl. Also check eis fuse. Does car lock and unlock? If so vin passes through eis. Which means eis is good kind of and same with key. Glimmmer of hope.

  @@MasterTechLou Thanks for your reply I checked power & ground at EIS ( they're good ). Right now the steering in lock position & can not open or lock the doors by key fob ( customer said it was worked before ), this is a 4Matic vehicle & scan tool can not communicate with TCM & ECM ( maybe cause ignition can not turn on )

  @@maxwellautoservice_yeg834 ask how many keys they have. Disassemble key look for water/corrosion. Try another benz key if you have one from another car. Once dash shows “wrong key inserted” it passes eis and fails key.

  @@MasterTechLou I did try another benz key ( from another vehicle )but same thing ( no any message come up on cluster ). Customer had only one key

  @@maxwellautoservice_yeg834 if no response it could be a dead eis. Of course be sure battery voltage is good. With scanner it should still show key inserted yes or no on live data.

  Question I got an 08 s63 as soon as I start up the car the left front goes all the way up and now it’s stuck there I use my scanner and lower it as soon as It goes down it goes back up confused lol

  Sounds like level sensor issue. Linkage. Or stuck valve block. Car thinks it needs to raise.

  My gl550 was also dropping, had diagnosed as bad compressor and valve block. Replaced those and suspension has completely dropped on 4 wheels, and getting a malfunction and sometimes a compressor Cooling down light. Any advice on this please

  Absolutely, if one has age and failed the others are there or right behind it. Problem with owning the car the whole lifespan is as the vibrations get worse you are immune to it because it becomes normal. Until you drive another car then get back In yours then are like “what did you do to my car” 🫣😂

  Hi, Just watched your video on the MBII Scanner. I have one and have been told that with an iCarsoft 38pin to 16pin OBD adapter it will read my Mercedes 1996 r129 SL500. Have you had any experience in this. Thanks in advance from Australia...George

  Yes from my experience you can read older cars with the adapter. But sometimes there can be an issue with faulty adapters so purchase wisely.

  I normally get SAE and metric, and everything from sockets to. Wrenches. A clutch jack is more in the heavy duty world A big trucks but they did not want to help me because my Jack was a different color than the current Jack so I guess I bought old inventory, but I was still under warranty
