  What a numbskull I am!! I took the lever thing OFF to try to change the foot! 😜🙃😛 thank you for coming to my rescue!! I haven’t take the time to learn all these things about my machine cuz I have had to keep it put away most of the time since I purchased it almost 4 years ago!! This was so easy! Thank you for doing this video for us knuckleheads! I always try to jump ahead instead of being patient enough to learn things the right way!! 🥰🥰🥰

  Thanks so much for your question, a star can be a communication guide to follow on the pattern, as a notch, or an easing guide to follow depending on the pattern or the style dimension. It can also mean something else as well, but if you have the pattern instruction usually the symbols will be on the instruction sheet, and it will tell you what the star means.
