    Very cool... have not heard this before and makes so much sense. How do I think about aligning club face to intermediate target if I'm presetting a bit of shaft lean?

    Thank you - great in depth pointers! how do I think about dialing in distance? if I accelerate around club parallel and feel the club dropping prior to that then it doesn't seem possible to use the clock system.. so is it just feel, or is there anything else to guide?

    If you aren’t going to practice, it’ll likely be tougher. I’d say to pull the trail leg back back behind you and learn how to internally rotate the trail hip (quad to the target without anything going towards the ball)

    Hey Trevor! What is your take on gripping the driver? I have always gripped it pretty much like my other clubs (i'd say I have a pretty neutral grip). I have seen some videos where you get your lead hand a bit more compact but i have not tried it yet. I was curious about your take on this. Take care and thank you for all your videos😊

  • @tsgolf
    @tsgolf8 күн бұрын

    So I would say grip changes need to directly relate to ball flight. Stronger for helping close the face to the shaft and weaker to minimize twist. It can also be placed in specific manners to help with width as well! What’s you ball flight miss / what are you trying to get better at? Happy to help anyway I can!

  • @jonashagg4143
    @jonashagg41438 күн бұрын

    @@tsgolf my misses are all over the place. Snaphooks, straight with slice, pushslices and sometimes i twist the face in weird ways and produce shots so bad they don't even have a name yet. Even my good ones differ a lot in flight and curve. I have have practiced quite a lot on really slow swings (10%) and gotten somewhat concistent , but I'm having huge trouble doing it with the driver. I will try to lower my tee a little for next session (i have always tee'd pretty high to ensure hitting up) maybe this can change my mindset a little

    Quick question, as it's a tight lie are you hitting ball first with a slight divot post impact or are you using some bounce in this shot? (To me it looks like your hitting down on it with a little pressure and squeeze on the ball with a bit of forward shaft lean and slight divot, that's the intention, yeah?)

  • @tsgolf
    @tsgolf10 күн бұрын

    Definitely ball first here! I think the majority of need to focus on ball first before we get into specialty shots like grounding out behind the exposing the bounce. I still like the bounce exposed but would recommend ball first contact. Hope this helps and thanks for the comment!

    I start all my training-sessions by hitting 1 or 2 buckets like this. Now i pretty much hit it solid each time (still a little spread to the sides). The biggest improvement i have noticed so far is that i now can hit my long irons (I4, I5) a lot more consistent, I also noticed my 50-80% wedgeshots have gotten a LOT better. My timing have improved and I think it's very relaxing to hit balls with 0% power. I will keep this up all summer, thank you for a great tip!

    Instead of the only pressure being carried in the lead hard, he transferred the pressure to his trail hand (trail wrist under the grip more at the top). His goal would be to keep pressure off the grip in transition!
