    You guys talked about the animals in exciting news and I would love to hear your guys take or tier list on all minifig scale(non friends or Duplo) animals, and what ones you would love to see be made, back to Star Wars though between this movie and the clone wars series they have the most that you could pull from to make a set for

    I will admit this is probably the worst movie to make sets from but there’s definitely some highlights like you guys have said, Jango Fetts Slave 1 or the Jedi interceptor with hyper drive ring. The genosian or however it’s spelled would be neat but I’m not sure how you could do that without being to expensive or look childish

    I wish Lego would really benefit from doing a lot more with the prequels, I would love to see more Podracer sets for sure and I think more UCS sets on prequels would sell so much better then another X-wing or originals set

    Oh! I didn’t know that, apologies for speaking down on it! Do you have any info on that back story?

    @@PlainOldGrinch no need to apologize! I kinda did the same thing at first but if I remember correctly it was created for a tribute to Katie Johnson who was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed and she was the daughter of Albin Johnson who was a the founder of the 501st legion costuming department. As Katie’s health deteriorated she wanted a droid like R2-D2 to watch over her and thus R2-KT was created and was by her side up until her passing, I’m sure there’s more that I’m missing but it’s a great story

    I like how the selection of dinosaurs is basically just a less insane dino attack lineup with the addition of a triceratops. a raptor that's bigger than it should be, a t rex, a pterodactyl, and most importantly, a non-posable generic tiny dinosaur that nobody likes.

    I agree, getting sidetracked can be fun. Also, the whole premise of your show is "AFOLs Welcome". I mean, let's be honest, how many 10 year olds are going to be listening to an hour long discussion on the mathematics and engineering aspects of proportionate scaling when using interlocking construction bricks. Be authentic and make some jokes, that's what people like. And, just remember, it's the Internet, someone will be offended no matter what you say.

    Brachiosaurus: Discovered in 1903. From the Late Jurassic, specifically 154-150 million years ago. It was a Sauropod. Plesiosaurus: Discovered in 1821. Holotype for Plesiosaurus found 2 years later by Mary Anning. Plesiosaurs spanned from the latest stage of the Triassic (around 204 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous 66 million years ago. It was a Sauropterygian. Closer related to modern lizards than birds. Plateosaurus: Discovered in 1834. Lived in the Latest Triassic from 214-204 million years ago. It was a basal Sauropodomorph, which means it was part of the group before the evolution of Sauropods. Diplodocus: Discovered in 1877. Lived from 154-152 million years ago. Also a Sauropod but a completely different branch than Brachiosaurus. I would've gone into more detail about Plesiosaurus but I just don't know which species that's supposed to be.

    You know, when i look at those sets, all of them look *so... unbelivably... OLD...* But i actually remember the series just coming out! Monents like this fills me with nostalgia, knowing that anything that looks cutting-edge new to you right now may look extremely old and outdated after some time.

    Grinch next time you're in San Diego, hit me up. Now I know the list was subjective, but you guys can't put Duplo over DC and Blacktron. That's just wrong. Dreamzzz needs to be moved to an F as well. Let's keep it real, we've all said the same thing about that theme. Some of the minifigures are pretty cool with the new molds and such, but I bet none of us have a single set and won't be buying one either. I'd be shocked if they keep pushing that them into next year. Also, tell me more about this Shipwreck collectibles. Never heard of it.

  • @PlainOldGrinch
    @PlainOldGrinchАй бұрын

    Yeah putting DC so low felt off, but dupliqua goated for moc making. Yeah, wouldn’t be surprised if dreams is gone in a year. Will do, I used to live there, but I just moved :/ across the country too. It was a small store front at a place called Ninja exchange in Carlsbad mall, there were a ton of vendors there with a lot of various collectible toys and items. Every 5th or so store had some Lego representation too! They said they had a small store up in lake Elsinore I think, so might not be too close to you, but they have there little spot there at the exchange!
