To add, the actor for woon-ho’s brother as an adult at the end also plays in strong girl namsoon with the actor for woon-ho(sunjae). They play enemies, which is an interesting crossover.
This is one of these movies i would try and watch it more than once on my own, but i was too upset and depressed after watching it the first time knowing what happened at the end to watch it more than once. I’m still upset and depressed about it. But i gotta tell myself that i know the actor seems all good, happy and living well. So i get put more at ease thinking about that.
Oh God, I had a revelation: despite having seen this film at the time of its release, or rather perhaps precisely because of this, only now did I realize that the divine Han Hyo-joo was playing Na Bo-ra! However, if you want to cry, you should catch up on the ensemble drama Our Blues, but don't stop at the first story, i.e. the first three episodes, because it is the weakest of all.
This movie was based on the writers experience so it makes it even sadder 😭

He died because of a plane crash while going back to korea 🤧 But the fact that I watched this in 2023 almost a year, I still can remember that it took me 3 weeks to move on from this, like everyday my fyp in tiktok are full of 20th century girl edits and my heart just can't forget everything 😭 I was screaming my heart out while crying 😭

This movie broke me because I didn't even have the slightest clue that they would give us such an ending:(. And yes I completely felt like so many scenes from lovely runner were callbacks to this. I was feeling the pain all over again😭❤️but love both nonetheless

I think Gwijoo already know how it end from his mom. But, like he said, he still to experience it by himself. It is not real if he is not experience it. He prepare himself. He still excited for their wedding. But knowing it and experiencing directly, still 2 different thing. He still get hurt anyway.
I thought the same thing as well but I'm really questioning it after seeing episode 7. The way he reacted made it feel as if she kept it from them for some reason. He did get hurt and he looked so sad 🥺
